Was reminded of these controlled burn photos from last year, so thought I'd post a couple of my favorites....

Controlled burn at Donald Park, south of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. April 11, 2009.

Here are all the controls temporarily mounted in the control panel, which has been installed in the cabinet. The buttons serve to mimic both the layout of a NEO GEO control panel as well as a Street Fighter-type six-button layout. It may not be obvious from this photo, but this is pretty much the absolute maximum amount of controls I was going to be able to cram into this control panel.

Best viewed upside-down. These markers always look like they're inside-out when the sunshine is coming from the wrong direction. All of this lettering is actually imprinted, not raised.

The tokonoma housed a mini-television and the controls for the otherwise-discrete sound system. This convenience was a little too modern for my tastes.

This shot was taken shortly after the walls collapsed. Only one wall fell away from the basement. I have some shots of the house on fire, but I thought it could be a bit much if anyone had ever been traumatized by a fire.

This is one of the reasons I haven't been on Flickr much of late; the telephone is no longer connected and neither is the computer.

This just sits on top of the focus helical housing, so it gets plenty of lubricant.
