Andrew had to have some repairs to fix a control arm that was dragging on the ground.

Here Jim is tack welding it in position, before removing it completely to repair it "properly".

To quote Andrew: "I finally got to use my new toolkit" :-)

This is what is pulling in and out by about 3-5 mm.

That should last.

A broken control arm off the Pathfinder, welded and braced with a piece of steel rod we had salvaged off a wrecked trailer the day before.

The day was also saved by the fact that the Pathfinder had two-piece polyurethane bushes, that were easily removed. The pressed-in bushes I have on the Landcruiser would have proved to be an interesting hurdle should we have had to repair mine.
