A broken control arm off the Pathfinder, welded and braced with a piece of steel rod we had salvaged off a wrecked trailer the day before.
The day was also saved by the fact that the Pathfinder had two-piece polyurethane bushes, that were easily removed. The pressed-in bushes I have on the Landcruiser would have proved to be an interesting hurdle should we have had to repair mine.
