I managed to work on it a bit this weekend, and this is currently how the raytracer's test image looks with specular highlights, shadows, and reflections enabled. I'm still working on the colors, since I have floating point color so I need to work out the balancing properly. However, I think I'll soon begin the port to CUDA.

Continuing with their promotion schedule, the Reading Royals offered a special night for college students. In between the first and second period the first ever bubble ball ice soccer match happened with two teams of students donned in bubble balls and attempted to score a goal. While soccer on the ice was unique, the money was the main attraction with chuck a puck during the second and third period. Spectators purchased pucks and threw them towards center ice in hopes of landing in the perfect spot to win some cash.

Continuing north of Aira Force is a lovely creek, Aira Beck, which meanders through cool woods with one fall after another. We were looking for "High Force," which was promised on the walk, but couldn't really tell which it was.
Continuing his push to build new industries in the Ocean State, Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) today visited a pair of innovative small businesses and a Providence job training initiative designed to give unemployed residents the opportunity to enter growing fields. At the Genesis Center, Langevin took part in a forum with participants in the organization’s programs that prepare workers for employment in expanding fields like health care.
