This is a dead-end street that often has appealing subjects to photograph. Although I'm not a huge car buff, this old beauty fills the frame nicely with a mix of grandiosity and decay.
Norfolk Southern 4710 blocks Lumber Street as it switches the Continental Paper Company in Chicago's south loop. Only the second time I have caught this job. Just (dumb) luck.

The continental divide rises into the clouds to the east of Colorado's Fraser Valley, seen a few days after a March, 2003 snowstorm has left 60 inches of the white stuff on the ground. The prominent peak to the left is Parry Peak (13,250 feet). Much more snow has fallen on the summit.

The Lincoln Continental Town Car
this is the "mid line" model. Has more standard options than the base Continental, and was also "top of the line" in previous years, but the Collector's Series now serves as the top of the line for the 1979 model year.
It was interesting to see the extremely modern design in the Continental Ballrooms of the Hilton, which originally is done in Beaux-Arts style. I decided that mono shows the beauty of the details best, regardless of the architectural style. However friends, have a colorful weekend. Happy Mothers Day to all momy Flickr friends 💐. El otro día la 333.380 nos trajo a los talleres de Salamanca la 319.301. El día 25 de julio, la 333.320 alquilada por Continental Rail a Renfe ROSCO vino para llevarsela a Madrid.
Canadian Rocky Mountains in southeastern British Columbia, Canada. This is at the continental divide at Kootenay National Park which was established in 1920. One side water flows east to the Atlantic Ocean and the other side water flows west to the Pacific Ocean. There's four Rocky Mountain National Parks in Canada in this area: Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, and Yoho.
The Continental Divide in the USA runs from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. It is that geographic boundary which divides the continent East and West. Water on either side of the Divide flows either to the Pacific Ocean, or to the Gulf of Mexico/Atlantic Ocean.
This section is near Wolf Creek Pass in SW Colorado.
The fourth generation of the Lincoln Continental was built from 1961 until 1969. At that time the Continental was Lincoln's only model. The 1966 model has a 7.6 litre V8 engine, It looks like a convertible, but it is a two-door hardtop with a vinyl roof.

I had to trek though what had to have been at least eight inches of melting snow to get up to the water tank. The things I do for aviation photography.
Starting December 2019, Coradia Continental emus of the 1440 series, operated by DB Regio, are supposed to take over the train service between Breisach/Endingen, Freiburg and the Black Forest, as part of the new Breisgau-S-Bahn network. Currently, these trains are tested around Freiburg. A double consist is seen on a test run to Bad Krozingen near Schallstadt-Wolfenweiler; August 8, 2019.
