Container Ship
Unlike the other ships in this set, this vessel was underway and headed to the berth in Centerm
These crates were found outside of an old mill not far from where I live.....thought they would make for an interesting pic.
Containerisation is a system of intermodal freight transport using intermodal containers. The containers have standardised dimensions. They can be loaded and unloaded, stacked, transported efficiently over long distances, and transferred from one mode of transport to another without being opened. The handling system is completely mechanised so that all handling is done with cranes and special forklift trucks. All containers are numbered and tracked using computerised systems.
One of my favourite photos - taken by a member of MOL's sales team on a visit to West Africa in 2001. I think it's a FIAT 682 - don't you just love the handbrake?

The Container-Terminal Bremerhaven seen from the air. Maybe the Tetris music would fit here :)
Testing out the M50mii, good for stills maybe not so fast on the shutter for candid family shots. It seemed to miss a lot (shutter lag maybe) at a recent family gathering. I like the ef 24mm better than the 22m ef-m prime, just sayin!

Deze container heeft extra opschriften voor "34 Pallet Load"

Over the centuries, the Special Colony Planet 3008 became totally dominated by the Swedish retail giant. Whole populations lived in apartments that were stacked like billy bookcases. They ate nothing but meatballs and nearly everyone worked in the Allen key mines.
High in orbit, the cargo hubs swarmed with ships like this one. The unloaded supplies and loaded the containers of hex keys to be spread across the galactic disc.

Economic issues have obliged these Ga women to live in a sweaty container-like structure at Jamestown in Accra, Ghana.
Designed to interface with all of the diverse shipping containers of the galaxy. Built using beehives, trash cans, book covers, minifig heads, Slizer/Throwbot discs, and lots of 1x2 grilles.
