Another one off my list. This is one photograph I have wanted to get for a long time. I hope you like it.
The Hay Wain by Constable to be precise.although I have more of the house and no horse and cart in mine. Loved the way this came out, using the smaller CSC Fuji X-A2 and have to say the quality of the shots feels close to the Canon. Now owned by the National Trust this forms part of Flatford Mill, once owned by Contable's father and passed down to his brother, it stayed in the family until the 1900s. Many painters gravitated or came from the part of Suffolk where this lies, drawn by its beauty.

Today, 2 February, is the feast of the Lord's Presentation in the Temple, and a good explanation for this feast can be found here.
The centrepiece of the reredos in the Contable's Chapel in Burgos Cathedral is this scene of the Christ Child being presented to the Lord in the Temple. The grand chapel was built between 1482-1517 under the direction of Simon de Colonia.

Estaba buscando algún robado de semáforo para mi todavía incipiente serie, cuando me encontré con él y su mirada. Inmediatamente me acordé de Iñaki y su fabulosa colección de miradas. Así pues decidí tratar de llegar a California y de acercarme a su estilo, con mis limitaciones. Espero que os guste, y a él también.

I was looking for some of my "traffic light" candids when I saw him and his look. I did immeddiatly remember Iñaki and his great collection of looks . So I tried to get to California and to his style, with my obvious limitations. I hope you like it and he too.

Three young American tourists enjoying their visit to London and the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament). Police officers, PC's Chris Steil and John Holley were 'on loan' to the Houses of Parliament from Cannon Row Police Station. Maybe these young ladies' visit to London was made a little more 'comfortable' having these officers in attendance? Note blue shirts.
Also note no radios, no guns or weighted down equipment belts, kevlar jackets, stab proof vests, machine guns or tasers that we see carried by today's police officers. How times have changed!
It should be remembered that the IRA (Irish Republican Army) terrorist threat was at its height and their serious intention was to harm and maim members of the public on the UK mainland. Officers in this particular area of London would be called to suspect packages, vehicles and people around 6 to 8 times per 8 hour shift. In todays parlance these officers were put into 'harms way' continuously on a daily basis. THESE FACTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE BORNE IN MIND WHEN VIEWING PICTURES SUCH AS THIS.
