Here's a reconstruction of the barracks wall-segment, included with a floor and a lovely sliding door! The first version (way back in the "Evil Genius" album) was too tall, and worse--it didn't leave for a big enough of a cavity for a door to slide into. Fixed!! (:
That shelving is one heckuva pitcher with a killer curveball: the upper row of shelves is merely "pinched in" by the other bricks, and it still isn't clear if it will work in inside/outside corners. The foundation and dirt are for dramatic effect. It's pretty dramatic.
So guys, help! What shall we name our new recruit? If he's going to be one of our minions, we must give him a new name to boost his loyalty to our cause!

In his paint-speckled work jacket, he had a laizzare-faire air about him that was striking yet charming at the same time.
A profile shot was irresistible. Yet at the sight of my camera, he was unfazed. Rather, a lazy grin spread across his face as he fingered around in his pocket for a cigarette.
Keeping a steady gaze at my camera, he whipped out a pack of cheap ciggies and even offered me a teasing stick which I politely declined.
A lit cigarette in his hand, a breakfast omelet in another, he raised his left hand to toast me and ambled away to a corner to enjoy his breakfast.
No doubt whatever hard labor that laid ahead of him that busy day, he seemed like a man who would take everything in stride.

Around 6am these construction workers grab breakfast on the roadside before going to work.. i'd passed by in a cab on my way back to hotel,i thought i had spotted a food market... pleasant surprise.. i had breakfast with the boys!!
Very ,very hard working boys too... the site they were working on was so high it disappeared into the clouds.
Gail is gratful for the noise of the jackhammer. It drowns out Emmet's constant chatter as well as the supervisor 's comment of "Keep up the good work" every ten minutes.
My opinion of Paul Day’s giant Meeting Place statue at St. Pancras International remains unchanged: I regard the embracing lovers as a singular piece of kitsch. I expressed my opinions of it in one of my earliest Flickr uploads, from 2008.
But in my eagerness to shun the work, I had ignored the frieze at the base of the statue. In this segment, Paul Day pays tribute to the workers who built the Channel Tunnel that links St. Pancras International with Continental Europe, as well as those who toiled in transforming St. Pancras into today’s modern station. This was Britain’s largest civil engineering project, that lasted from 2004 to 2007.
