SSG Hancock, US Army Reserve Civil Affairs Soldier, in an interview at the 2011 All American Bowl in San Antonio, TX discusses the importance of the Army Reserve in helping people outside the United States. “The biggest thing about Army Reserve, especially in civil Affairs….. the idea is to have people who work in the community, school teachers, we’ve had city planners, construction workers, finance people, whoever that may be, these people can take that job or that trade skill and use it in the Army when we go overseas. We work a lot with provincial reconstruction and development of the civilian populous, so it’s great to have people who have a profession or a trade come with us as a Reserve Component.”

Having hurried home earlier in the morning from the CD AIW Assemblance Rally to transfer my images to my computer when rushing back to 16/P Streets NW hoping to catch the demonstrators as they'd step-off from the First baptist Chruch in their march to the White House and in an attempt to document not only the path that I travelled but also capture the contrast between those who worked in the streets as opposed to those who protested beginning on . K between 16th and 17th Streets, NW I'd photograph men at work . NW . WDC . Monday afternoon, 26 September 2005
