I can not stop playing with the cones and nocking them over. The stop and go sign is adorable with the little spin it does to change. Not photographed it also comes with a traffic light which i could stare at for hours, a car charger for your recharging needs and a very loud whistle!

In the fields of architecture and civil engineering, construction is a process that consists of the building or assembling of infrastructure. Far from being a single activity, large scale construction is a feat of multitasking. Normally the job is managed by the project manager and supervised by the construction manager, design engineer, construction engineer or project architect.

First, I would like to credit Ken Mizuno, who designed a simple variation of a Mekong catfish from a fish base. It's a very simple model, but it does capture the essence of the creature's large mouth and stocky body. It also has a friction lock to make the mouth, which I coincidentally also used to give this model a closed mouth and belly. I would also like to credit 涂开明 for the tail technique he used for his deep-sea hatchetfish. I used his technique to make the tail for this model.
When I first approached this model, I had no idea how to begin to make the head and stocky body. I thought I would have to make a complex CP just to achieve these features. Surprisingly the CP is not too bad, though it is a bit unorthodox in my opinion.
My favorite part of the model is the head, mouth, and underbelly. Really evokes the spirit of the animal. You can see the underbelly better in the other photo. I was originally going to model this specifically from the Mekong Giant Catfish, but I suppose "Pangasius" encompasses everything better.
Construction is well underway on our porch in New Orleans. After a tornado pulled the little stoop away from the house, Ken said obviously it was an opportunity to make a change. I guess any opportunity shouldn't be missed! I think the new porch is going to add TONS of New Orleans curb appeal! Just wait til we get finished!
I am SO thrilled we have been able to use the architectural blocks that I have saved for 7 or 8 years- I just KNEW there would be a project they were perfect for! Also, the stained glass window that went up into the vent area is an antique from England! Our contractor, Peter, knows how much the details matter and he is a great project manager to understand the aesthetics we are going for!
