2017 Tools to Build Your Future Construction Career Day at OSU/OKC. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Civil Rights Division partnered up with the Association of General Contractors, the Asphalt Pavers Association, the Concrete Pavers Association, The Oklahoma Trucking Association and Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City Campus to host this year's event. Contractors, Equipment Vendors and Industry Partners helped out to provide career choices to the students of the Oklahoma City Public Schools.

VPRS 10516 consists of photographic negatives and prints created by the Department of Public Works (VA 669). PWD had wide-ranging responsibilities for all public works and buildings, including construction, maintenance and fitting out of these buildings. This series encompasses black and white prints, film, glass plate and transparency negatives and depicts Victorian and selected interstate public buildings. The majority of images in this series are of State primary, secondary and tertiary schools and public hospitals. Images of courts, police stations and Parliament House are also included.

Most people are grumbling about all the construction being done on Dakota Ave. this summer. Not Gus. He loves it. We, along with the grandparents, have been taking him down to see all the diggers and dozers since the work started in late spring.
