Cooperstown, North Dakota
The courthouse was constructed in 1884 for $20,980 by Alexander Moffat of Sanborn, SD (which at the time was the Dakota Territory). The red brick was laid in red mortar and relieved by bands of black & white brick. The very top of the finial tower is 98 feet above the ground.
The courthouse was the oldest functioning courthouse in the State until 2018 when the new courthouse was completed in front of it. After 2 proposals to renovate it were turned down in county wide elections, the county commissioners decided to use a "loop hole" that allowed them to ignore the voter's voice as long as they did not raise taxes and construct a new courthouse. In June 2018 after the new courthouse was finally completed the county voted to demolish the historic courthouse but as of today, it is still standing.
Fairly classy way to cover a large construction project in a nice area (This is the Place des Vosges, in the Marais). Along the bottom it says, "This poster helps pay for the restoration of this building."

On the spot on the banks of the confluence of the Suriname River and the Commewijne River called “Landing”, a collaborative work of art was established: a 'gapuro'. Gapuro is a Javanese word meaning: entrance, arch of honor. It also means: 'Feel welcome'. A metal construction was made, and artists handed in their works on metal plates which were then attached to this construction.

FVAS participated in the Suriname Heritage Festival 2011 with an exhibition in one of the gun powder storage buildings and by building a 'gapuro', a structure next to the river.

Well it was one of them that Milosevic developed in the 1990s. However, now all Albanians live here. Took the picture out of a moving bus so not the greatest.
I constructed a heart out of the leaves, so it looks like it still belongs in the environment even though it doesn't look "natural"
