The United States Constitution is 230 years old this September. It was signed on the 17th, 1787. This display is provided by the Cimarron River Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

USS Constitution is a wooden-hulled, three-masted heavy frigate of the United States Navy. Named by President George Washington after the Constitution of the United States of America, she is the oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat in the world. Launched in 1797, the nickname of "Old Ironsides" and public adoration that has repeatedly saved her from scrapping.

We arrived at Castle Island in Boston Harbor in plenty of time to see the USS Constitution approach, pushed by a tugboat. Note that we're just across the channel from the airport.
