I took a drive down to Geneva, Al. while I was at my mom's house for Christmas. I took this picture of constitution oak/living witness while I was there. The tree gets the name because it was here during the signing of the US Constitution. Probably one of the largest oaks I've seen. you can purchase prints through the link below
Constitution Hill is a hill in the Welsh town of Aberystwyth, situated to the north of the town.
The hill overlooks Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion, Wales, running between the town and the coastal settlements of Borth and Clarach bay to the north. The site provides good views of the Aberystwyth area and the sightline extends as far as Snowdonia National Park and north Pembrokeshire.
Since 1896, the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway has ascended to the hill's summit, and the summit features a camera obscura, which is a 1980s rebuild of a Victorian era building which was erected as part of the "Luna Park" recreation area.
At its peak runs the Clarach Footpath on the Wales Coast Path, which connects the town of Aberystwyth with Clarach Bay and Borth. The hill itself is often referred to as "Consti" by locals.[
Cádiz
The bridge of the Constitution of 18125 (originally called the Pepa bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge that crosses the bay of Cádiz, giving access to Cádiz from the mainland, being the third access to the city, after the link by the Isthmus of San Fernando and the Carranza bridge. The bridge is the continuation of the Southern highway, forming an integral part of the Access highway to Cádiz, being responsible for it by the Ministry of Development of the state government. The board is divided between the dual carriageway (two lanes in each direction) and another carriageway reserved for public transport.
The bridge began construction in 2008 and was opened on September 24, 2015.6 Once opened, it became the brightest bridge in Spain at 540 meters. Considering the cable-stayed bridges, it would be the third brightest bridge in Europe, after the Normandy bridge (856 m) and the Rio-Antirio bridge (three 560 m spans). The total work consists of the bridge over the bay, with a total length of 3,092m, 1,440 of which over the water, plus the 796m Río San Pedro Viaduct. With the accesses to the bridges, the work extends over 5 km.
The project was written by the engineer Javier Manterola and has been carried out by the Spanish company Dragados. The total cost of the project was 511 million euros.7
Plaza de la Constitución, formerly called "Plaza del Aceite" located above the Roman forum, still houses Roman ruins in its subsoil, Badalona was the ancient Roman city Baetulo.
As well as the viewing platform below there is a tower at the summit of Mount Constitution. I'm not convinced that the view is any better for the additional bit of height
Browsing 'Tasmania - Day three' from 2017 - Felt I could do better on this one that before .. and yeah I reckon I just might've.

The Hobart docks are a little quiet in this photograph. Most of the fishing boats must be out at sea.

This is a favorite location of mine on the National Mall, particularly in winter and spring. A surprising number and variety of ducks are often seen there.
View LARGE for a closer look at the ducks and Cormorants.

Spontaneous and disorganised group portrait from Glasgow, Scotland.
An old shot from 2017 that I had almost forgotten about. I took a couple of candid shots of these Norwegians in Glasgow and they asked me to make some group portraits for them in a spontaneous session on the banks of the River Clyde.
Wishing all of my Norwegian Flickr friends a fabulous "syttende mai" Constitution Day of Norway.
As street photographers I feel it is important to always give back. We 'take' our shots from the city so when people ask me to take a photograph of them I am always happy to do so, many of which I never share here on Flickr because it was a gift to them and not a photograph for me. Stay safe!
Enjoy!

From Constitution Hill you get a superb view over one of my favourite British towns: Aberystwyth. It seems I'm not alone in having this viewpoint; Aberystwyth was recently voted one of the top ten small towns in the UK for a winter break, by readers of The Guardian.
Ancient bridge with lots of signs. The concrete thingy is the counterweight for the still-functioning lift bridge to allow vessels in and out of the inlet.

Another week, and another few images coming up from Venice.
Today we take a trip back to Constitution Bridge, the newest (and my favourite) to cross the Grand Canal. Immediately behind me is the train station, and on the opposite side of this bridge is the bus terminal – so two of the main entry points to Venice. From here, it’s a case of walking or boating your way around.
I’m working in Singapore for the duration of this week before doing a little sightseeing around Asia. Hope you had a great weekend.
