“Constitution-Making and Reform: Options for the process” was officially presented at the January 23rd Interpeace Partners Forum, held at and co-hosted by the U.S. Mission to the U.N. in Geneva. Here are some, ok most of the pictures that I took at the 2012 Constitution Parade in Louisville Ohio 23 Sep, sorry the camera date is wrong.

The next day I knocked on Jay's door and said "Wake up man, we've got a boat to see!" I was up at the west-coast equivalent of 5am because I was fired up to see the USS Constitution.

This is the National Archives. Here you can view the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and Bill of Rights. The Archives have gone to extensive lengths to preserve these documents while keeping them accessable to all. The Archives are charged with saving all our nation's important documents and media.

Constitution Plaza, Hartford, CT

At the bottom of Constitution Hill, just after the start line. Not all cars were photographed, as some overtook others and it was not possible to get both cars or seperately in a photo.

It was dawn / day break, so the colour of the photos changed from early morning blue, to early daylight, to the sun poking out.

Photographed Sunday 05 November 2023.

The west car (1) arriving at the upper station, Constitution Hill Cliff Railway, Aberystwyth. Tuesday 21 July 2015.

The cliff railway opened in 1896, it cost £60,000 to build and is in a cutting for its entire 798 ft. length. There are two tracks at 4ft 10ins gauge laid close together with a slight widening halfway to allow the two cars to pass. A zig-zagging footpath to the headlands summit crosses the railway on four girder and concrete bridges. The two wooden cars each originally seated 30 people; in 1989 they were both rebodied with prefabricated galvanised steel ones and marine ply panels. The seating capacity was reduced to 20 in four compartments; five passengers can also stand on each open platform. The west track car is No.1 and the east track car is No.2.

Widener University's Annual Constitution Day with Dr. Jim Vike

Launched in 1797, Constitution entered service ("commsioned" in today's terminology) in 1798. She is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world, and is, along with the World War II carrier USS Enterprise (CV 6), one of the two most decorated and successful ships in Navy history. Today she is permanently berthed as a living Navy museum at the Boston Navy Yard. The ship has existed in four centuries (18th, 19th, 20th, 21st), and served under 44 of the 45 Presidents of the United States. Charlestown, Massachusetts. (Nathanael Miller, 21 July 2018)

Al Shaheed Park, Kuwait City. Sculpture celebrating Kuwait's Constitution.

Every attendee received their own pocket Constitution, which also included the Declaration of Independence.

On July 5th, the day after the turnaround cruise, I made my way (after getting lost twice) to see the USS Constitution in its Berth in Boston. After going through airport-style security (lest a terrorist pirate hijack the ship and sail it into, uh, something), I got in line to see the ship up close.
