ਹਲਕਾ ਦਾਖਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਮਨਪਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਯਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਸਦਕਾ 1971 ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਨਾਇਕ ਪਰਮਵੀਰ ਚੱਕਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਨਿਰਮਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖੋਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹਾਈ-ਟੈੱਕ ਖੇਡ ਪਾਰਕ ਰੁੜਕਾਂ ਕਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਸੁਪਰ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਲੀਗ ਦਾ ਮੈਚ ਜਾਂਗਪੁਰ ਫ਼ੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ (ਹਲਕਾ ਦਾਖਾ) ਅਤੇ ਦਲਬੀਰ ਫ਼ੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ (ਪਟਿਆਲਾ) ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਂਗਪੁਰ ਫ਼ੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ 2-0 ਨਾਲ ਜੇਤੂ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਦਘਾਟਨੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇ.ਸੀ.ਟੀ. ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੀ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਮੈਡਮ ਪ੍ਰਿਆ ਥਾਪਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਲਵਾਰਾ ਏਅਰਫੋਰਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਵਿੰਗ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਇਯਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਥੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਿਲਸਿਲਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
Many Ultra Modern sports parks are being developed in several villages of Dakha constituency and credit for the same goes to young leader Manpreet Singh Ayali. One such hi-tech park has been inaugurated at village Rurka Kalan recently and many prominent people of the area took part in the celebration including Priya Thapar (from JCT group) and Wing Commander Balwinder Singh
On February 11, 2017 my constituency office held its Annual Chinese New Year Celebration at Langstaff Community Centre in Richmond Hill.
Our fantastic event was emceed by Richmond Hill Councillors Castro Liu and Godwin Chan, and attended by Richmond Hill Regional Councillor Brenda Hogg, Councillor David West and Councillor Karen Cilevitz and York Region School Board Trustee Carol Chan.
A special thank you to our excellent Chinese performers and our wonderful volunteers – their hard work and dedication made our celebration a memorable event.

Major developments regarding Punjab by-elections.
Tehreek-e-Insaf got a big success before the election. The Lahore High Court suspended the Election Commission's decision regarding the appointment of polling agents from the constituency. ROs and Presiding Officers got magistrate powers for 3 days. At the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the Lahore High Court suspended the Election Commission's decision regarding the appointment of polling agents from constituencies.
According to media reports, great progress has been made regarding the by-elections of Punjab. ROs and Presiding Officers got magisterial powers. According to the election rules, the officers were given the powers of magistrates. The presiding officers shall have the powers of a magistrate for three days. The presiding officers were given the powers of the magistrate till July 18.
