Please ... no applause for me. Mr T is the one who rescued this tart! I followed the recipe to the nearest berry ... creamed, whisked, greased tin, oven cooked for the said amount of time. The tart looked very good - I dusted it with icing sugar. All was fine till I tried to remove it from the bottom of the tin ... it was not cooked underneath.
Ho hum ... I piled the sorry mess into a couple of bowls. Cooked some more berries - then handed it over to Mr T (who is a much better cook!) to rescue. The last photo is of our salvaged pudding - raspberry and blueberry crumble with a lovely frangipane and crumble topping - it was very tasty!
Here's the recipe in case you feel adventurous. I hope you have better luck than I did. The bits that were cooked tasted very nice!
Berry Frangipane Tart
75g softened butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup caster sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup ground almonds
1 tbsp. gluten free cornflour
150g fresh raspberries and blueberries
2 tbsp. pure icing sugar
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180C.
Grease 6 5.5cm x 10cm loose based fluted flan tins and place on oven tray.
2. Mix the butter, vanilla extract and caster sugar in a small bowl with an electric mixer until combined. Add the egg and mix through.
3. Gently mix in the ground almonds and cornflour and mix until smooth. Spoon mixture into tins; smooth surface and sprinkle with berries.
4. Bake tarts for about 30 mins or until golden brown and firm to touch. Stand in tins until cool to touch; turn carefully, topside up, onto the bench. Serve dusted with icing sugar.
"Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common functional gastrointestinal disorder (FGID) affecting one in seven Australian adults and is also common in the USA, Europe and many Asian countries. This condition is characterised by chronic and relapsing symptoms; lower abdominal pain and discomfort, bloating, wind, distension and altered bowel habit (ranging from diarrhoea to constipation) but with no abnormal pathology. The diagnosis of IBS/FGID should be made by a medical practitioner.
The research team at Monash University have developed a diet to control gastrointestinal symptoms associated with IBS/FGID. The team has focused on a group of carbohydrates they have named FODMAPs (stands for Fermentable Oligo-saccharides, Disaccharides, Mono-saccharides and Polyols).
FODMAPs can be poorly absorbed in the small intestine. Mal-absorbed carbohydrates are fermented by gut bacteria to produce gas. Current research strongly suggests that this group of carbohydrates contributes to IBS/FGID symptoms. FODMAPs are found in a wide range of foods." www.med.monash.edu/cecs/gastro/fodmap/
I have to say a huge thank you to my hubby Mr T and also to the research team at Monash University ... I am on week three of this diet and, touch wood, it seems to be helping!

Language 6 according to Albers (1929)
(Detail)
Miguel Ventura's piece for PND! show was an extremely complex installation with multiple meanings. From my position as curator and Pole I was interested in pink swastika as a meaningful object. The hate and evil symbol today was a symbol of hope in the time of Nazism beginnings. There is no dictatorship that begins his rule promising the terror - they always spread the vision of a better future and often believe that doing evil they are working for supreme good.
Below Miguel’s Ventura statement for the piece.
NILC and PINK NOT DEAD
The title of the piece I’m exhibiting is Language 6 according to Josef Albers 1929. This piece is a quasi-children´s play painting model kit which might be constructed in different ways. The original installation of this piece in mexico differs somewhat from the one created here. The color pink helps to underline the playful as well as perverting qualities of the elements of this installation. I have used diverse materials for its construction: the manufactured elements are made of a plastic material commonly used in Mexico for arts and crafts and didactic materials in schools, photographs of different projects of my work where I have used the color pink, historical photographs from my personal collection of german world war II soldiers in the process of relieving their bowels and videos. before I continue I must explain the words NILC which appear throughout this painting installation. NILC is an umbrella organization I have created to channel my artistic strategies and activities. The initials N-I-L-C stand for The New Interterritorial Language Committee, a title I appropriated from the Interterritorial Language Committee established by the British for the instruction of Swahili as a lingua franca in their East African colonies in the early XXth century.
The core of this piece is based on a painting by the German artist Joseph Albers, a pioneer of early Modernism and a precursor of many of the reductive strategies used by artists today. I have chosen this piece in light of the Mexican contemporary art scene which mimics prevalent international reductive strategies as part of a process of integration to a ‘global art world’. NILC´s contradictory and perverting philosophies view with suspicion and contempt these canonical values and reductive tendencies in contemporary art today which are a continuation of Modernist aesthetics as established by North American theorists in the 1950´s. These aesthetics tend to constrain and constipate the education and development of artistic expression today. Therefore the presence of the soldiers relieving themselves on the field. It is convenient for political and social reasons that these aesthetic ideals be continued and developed for they are part of a homogenizing power structure, therefore the use of the swastika in this piece. Yet our contemporary social and artistic structures feel somewhat ingrown and perverted at this time and constipation must be relieved. The swastika, used here as a symbol of an anarchic nature rather than its world war II nazi symbolism implies, is used to counteract this overwhelming and dominating power structure.

Constipated? Bloated? Nauseated by ads that discuss such topics? Then this small 1930s advertising booklet is for you! It discusses the benefits of Adlerika, a patent medicine that contained Epson salts and other ingredients with laxative properties.
Do you suffer from other afflictions that you'd rather not discuss in mixed company? Then you only have to flip this reversible booklet over to read about the vitality of Vinol (see the cover on the other side below).

This is one of H.H. Warner's many lines of products his Warner;s Safe Kidney & Liver Cure, Warner's Safe Bitters, Safe Nervine and Safe Diabetes Cure were all introduced in the late 1870's . By 1887, H. H. Warner was hitting his stride as his patent medicine empire was flourishing around the world. In that year, Warner introduced a new major line of medicines that he dubbed “Log Cabin Remedies.” These pills are less common because, unlike the embossed bottled Safe Cure products, the pills were packaged in an unembossed vial with a paper wrapper. Warner's line of pills including the Log Cabin Liver pills all seemed designed to relieve constipation. Each bottle sold for 25 cents.

Alternative Names:
Aeldrum ,Black Elder, Boor Tree, Bountry, Elder, Ellanwood, Ellhorn, European Elder, and German Elder
The elder tree is steeped in folk lore, history and superstition, probably more so than any other plant. All parts of the tree were used in traditional societies. It was an important part of every herb or monastery garden or farm. It was planted wherever European people settled so that they might have its beneficial properties close at hand. Elderberries in mythology are both revered as protective, magical and healing, and reviled as evil and threatening.
The oldest known use was found in pole-dwellings from the Neolithic age in Switzerland (2000 BC).
The Druids thought of it as the tree of superstition, able to ward off the evil spirits and threats of death and destruction. The White Goddess, who guarded the door to the underworld, was said to protect the elder tree.
Some people believed that planting elderberry trees in the back of the house would protect the inhabitants from evil, and the fact that elderberries repel flies reinforced that idea. The leaves were also said to be protective. Bunches of leaves were placed in doorways and tied to horses’ harnesses to keep evil away. Elderberry leaves were also said to keep milk from souring, so the plants were often placed around dairies.
It was dangerous to cut down an existing elderberry tree, as a myth held that that person would die within three days. Should cutting down the tree be absolutely necessary, some protection could be obtained by singing a protective song, asking permission of the “Elder Mother” spirit inhabiting the tree.
It was used by Hippocrates (ca. 460-370 BC) and Pliny the Elder (AD 77).
In some regions, superstition, religious belief, or tradition prohibits the cutting of certain trees for bonfires, most notably in Witchcraft customs the Elderberry tree; “Elder be ye Lady’s tree, burn it not or cursed ye’ll be” –A rhyme from an Oral tradition.
Elderberry wood features prominently in mythology. Wind instruments carved from it are said to produce music that is beloved by spirits and faeries and medieval traditions hold that elderberry branches bring good luck and that switches made from it will preserve a healthy herd of cattle.
The wood of Christ’s cross was said to have been made from the elder.
The Anglo-Saxons thought that elders represented both good and evil – that if you cut an elder down, a witch would manifest in its place, but also that it would keep witches at bay (they were planted near wells and at the door of newly weds). If you fell asleep under the heavy scent of an elder in full bloom, you would be carried off to the world of the fairies and be protected from snakes and evil spirits.
In Germanic societies, the elder-mother, goddess of life and death was supposed to live in the elder tree. The elder became both the symbol of life and of death.
The wide range of medicinal benefits (assistance in treating colds, flu and asthma, allergies, diabetes and weight loss) is possibly due to the elderberry’s high anti-oxidant properties and capacity to build the immune system. Current research shows that elderberries are high in vitamins C, A and B.
Historically, both elderflowers and elderberries were given to build the immune system and prevent colds and flu. However, it is the flowers and berries of this tree that are most often used medicinally. Elderberries contain flavonoids, which are natural chemical substances that give food their taste and color; they also boost the immune system, and supply the body with antioxidant protection. Elderberry may be effective in treating some diseases related to a depressed immune system, and preliminary studies have shown it may be effective against some viruses, including herpes and the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
Elderberry has been traditionally used to relieve pain, inflammation, water retention, and congestion. All parts of the elderberry tree, including the bark, flowers, and leaves, have been used in herbal medicine. Elderberry leaves are added to topical creams and sitz baths to treat inflammatory disorders, such as arthritis, boils, and eczema. Aged elderberry bark has been used to treat water retention and constipation, and to induce vomiting.
Laboratory studies have shown that elderberry reduces excessive sinus mucus secretion, and some studies also suggest that elderberry can help lessen swelling of mucous membranes, improve sinus drainage, and decreased nasal congestion in those with bacterial sinusitis.
A recent Norwegian study has shown that elderberry juice (Sambucus nigra) not only stimulates the immune system, but also directly inhibits the influenza virus. The active ingredients in the elderberry were found to halt the spread of the virus by disarming the enzyme responsible for attacking the cell walls.
The study, reported in The Journal of International Medical Research, showed that on average, flu patients given the elderberry extract recovered within 3.1 days compared to 7.1 days for those given the placebo. Researchers found that the patients who took the elderberry extract also had higher levels of antibodies against the flu virus.
A previous study published by The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that nearly 90 per cent of flu patients given elderberry extract were completely free of symptoms within two to three days, as compared to at least six days with a placebo.
Proven protection against influenza
Elderberry has been proven effective against eight different influenza viruses. The study indicated that it may provide protection against a wide range of flu viruses, solving the problem of the “mutating flu”, because most strains of the virus use the same enzyme mechanism to penetrate cells.
High in Vitamin C
Whilst the properties of elders have long been touted, it is not intended that it be taken as a substitute for a flu vaccine. Please consult your doctor.
However, unlike most over the counter cough medications, it does have the benefit of being alchohol and preservative free, has a fabulous taste, and can be safely given to young children.
Elderberry Syrup is very high in Vitamin A and C and bioflavinoids, and may be taken as a prophylactic against winter colds.
Natural Support for Arthritis
The diuretic and anti-inflammatory activity of elderberries helps explain its use in rheumatic and arthritic conditions.
Used in regulating bowel activity.
Elderberries as a syrup have a long-established effect in regulating bowel activity, moderating extremes of diarrhoea and constipation.

Sandra and l stopped for a drink at a local tavern on the lake.
Had all kinds of male attention.
Poor boys need a cold shower l tell you.
Was similar to church this morning.
Lots of people praying for something to enrich thier life's.
Thiers has no chance of being answered. And although they might be bigger and stronger.
Both us little girls carry big guns and shoot them not only accurately. But practice constantly. A girl cannot have to much protection. Pepper spray and box cutters work. But just showing a 357 Magnum with Lazer scope and putting that dot on your forehead, works a whole lot quicker.
I personally prefer my 9mm Glock..... Smaller lighter Less kick. Semi automatic. Easier to get access, hide, and shoot
Best cure for constipation l have ever witnessed. Not to mention. Will shrink a hard on in the blink of an eye.
It's survival in the big city. Works nicely.
It's called the 2nd amendment in the United States.
The right to bear weapons and protect yourself.
Both Sandra and l work in some very bad areas. People getting raped. Carjacked. And murdered.
When l worked for city. Fellow worker had gun stuck to forehead and had brains blown out for his car. 6 months away from retirement. That is why l left. City would not let you carry to protect yourself.
Not going to happen to me.
It's another reason, Sandra and l have bonded.
Similar thing happened to someone she worked with.
It's a bad world out there. People need to be prepared to defend themselves.
They would find out quick what it feels like to be fucked........

Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium).
From Wikipedia:
"a species of flowering plant in the Lamiaceae family, or mint family, native to Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Crushed pennyroyal leaves emits a very strong fragrance similar to spearmint. Pennyroyal is a traditional folk remedy, emmenagogue, abortifacient, and culinary herb. European pennyroyal is related to an American species, Hedeoma pulegioides. Though they differ in genera, they share similar chemical properties.
Documented use of pennyroyal dates back to ancient Greek, Roman, and Medieval cultures. Its name - although of uncertain etymology - is associated with Latin "pulex" (flea) alluding to the manner it was used to drive away fleas when smeared on the body. Pennyroyal was commonly incorporated as a cooking herb by the Greeks and Romans. A large number of the recipes in the Roman cookbook of Apicius called for the use of pennyroyal, often along with such herbs as lovage, oregano and coriander. Although it was commonly used for cooking also in the Middle Ages, it gradually fell out of use as a culinary herb and is seldom used as such today.
Records from Greek and Roman physicians and scholars contain information pertaining to pennyroyal’s medicinal properties, as well as recipes used to prepared it. Pliny the Elder, in his encyclopedia Naturalis Historia (Natural History), described the plant as an emmenagogue, and that it also expelled a dead fetus. Galen only listed pennyroyal as an emmenagogue, as did Oribasius. Roman and Greek writers Quintus Serenus Sammonicus and Aspasia however both agreed that pennyroyal, when served in tepid water, was an effective abortive method. A medical text on gynecology attributed to Cleopatra (though it was never written by her but by a female Greek physician Metrodora) recommends the use of pennyroyal with wine to induce abortions.
In regard to its contraceptive properties, it was referred to in a joking manner in Aristophanes' play “Peace” 421 B.C.. Hermes provides the male character Trygaios a female companion. When Trygaios asks if there would be a problem if she became pregnant, Hermes responds, “Not if you add a dose of pennyroyal.” In a similar manner, in Aristophanes' comedy “Lysistrata,” after a pregnant female character on stage is told to withhold her body sexually from her husband, a slender female character, in comparison to the pregnant woman, is described as “A very lovely land Well croppy, and trimmed and spruced with pennyroyal.”
Early settlers in colonial Virginia used dried pennyroyal to eradicate pests. Pennyroyal was such a popular herb that the Royal Society published an article on its use against rattlesnakes in the first volume of its Philosophical Transactions in 1665. 17th century apothecary and physician Nicholas Culpeper wrote his medical text The English Physitian, mentioning pennyroyal, published in 1652. In addition to its abortive properties, Culpeper recommends its use for other gastrointestinal ailments, such as constipation, hemorrhoids, as well as itching and blemishes to the skin, even toothaches.
Pennyroyal continued to be used up through the 20th and 21st centuries. Its oil is still commercially available today, though little is known about the appropriate dosages for humans. Scientists therefore consider it likely unsafe for use, as it is potentially toxic. Pennyroyal is frequently used as an insecticide and pest repellant.[15] As a pest repellant, it is used to keep fleas away from household animals as well as on humans to ward off gnats and mosquitos. Some flea collars for pets have pennyroyal oil or the herb can be crushed in the lining. Humans have also put crushed pennyroyal stems in their pockets or on their clothing to ward off unwanted insects.[16] However, when using the pennyroyal plant as a pest repellant, the use of the concentrated pennyroyal oil should be avoided. Pennyroyal oil can be extremely toxic to both humans and animals, even in small quantities. With the use of pennyroyal around animals and humans comes the risk of it being absorbed through the skin and causing negative health effects. The less concentrated leaves of the plant should be used instead as an insect repellant.
Pennyroyal has historically also been used as a mint flavoring in herbal teas and foods. Pennyroyal tea has been used for cold relief, fevers, coughs, indigestion, liver and kidney problems and headaches.[17] The fresh or dried leaves of pennyroyal have also been used when treating influenza, abdominal cramps, to induce sweating, as well as in the treatment of diseases such as smallpox and tuberculosis.[18] To make the tea, the leaves of the plant are boiled in hot water. The lower concentration of toxic chemicals in these teas are less harmful than pennyroyal oil. It is recommended that people only drink pennyroyal tea periodically, as it is taxing on the body and should not be drunk on a regular basis. Consumption of pennyroyal tea can be fatal to infants and children.
The pennyroyal plant has also been used as an emmenagogue or perhaps most famously as an abortifacient. Chemicals in the pennyroyal plant cause the uterine lining to contract, causing a woman's uterine lining to shed. Women who struggle with regulating their menstrual cycle or suffer from a cystic ovary syndrome may choose to drink pennyroyal tea. Pennyroyal tea is subtle enough to induce menstrual flow with minimal risk of negative health effects. More concentrated versions of the plant, such as the oil, are much more toxic and will likely force a miscarriage if ingested by a pregnant woman. Since the U.S. Congress passed the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act in October 1994 all manufactured forms of pennyroyal in the United States have carried a warning label against its use by pregnant women, but pennyroyal is not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration."

The pills were first manufactured in 1868 when Dr Samuel Carter of Erie, Pennsylvania devised a formula that he thought was 'good for sick headache, torpid liver, indigestion, constipation or what-ails-you'. The formula included podophyllum resin from dried mandrake root combined with dried aloes juice, and bisacodyl as the active ingredient. The pills claimed to cure 'headache, biliousness, constipation, etc.' and are 'strictly vegetable'.

Tonight I dedicate this picture to all the emotional constipated people...maybe, winning their emotional constipation, they would feel more confident...

On Saturday, I accompanied my oldest son for some information gathering and window shopping in the city's different bike shops. It was fun. We looked at both used and new. He's interested in participating in a triathlon later this year and needs to get a road bike to train on (he also wants to start riding to school, which I'm not crazy about because we live in a tricky part of the city with traffic and hills). So I guess you could say that's what influenced the sharing of this picture, which I made in Amsterdam last summer.
There are a lot of bikes in Amsterdam! I consider myself a savvy person when it comes to blending but I still had a handful of people tut-tutting at me the night I took this, I kept accidentally walking into bike paths. I found Amsterdam exhilarating but chaotic. I'd dearly like to go back and visit the city, just by itself. We were barely there. It was more of a layover, between Berlin and the UK.
For the chance to walk around and take pictures, I skipped dinner with my family and had nothing to eat later except for some nuts, adding to an epic case of travel-related constipation I'd acquired due to eating like a bird the day before (it was going to be a long train ride, the lavatories on trains are infinitely better than on airplanes but I still just wanted to stay in my seat as much as possible). Later, I was too tired from walking around to go out and find something proper to eat and we had to get up early the next morning and catch another train so I went to sleep with a growly stomach. Surprisingly, these couple of days were the only time during our entire visit to Europe that I had that sort of "problem". As such, Amsterdam stands out in my mind, haha!

Queen of Spain Fritillary Distinctive Upperside (Issoria lathonia female; dostojka latonia, perlowiec mniejszy z rodziny rusalkowatych). The strong flyer, widespread butterfly in most of Europe lives in hot, dusty paths, sandy wasteland, and agricultural wastelands in extensive crops of the valley of the Warta River (Sierakow-Piaski). The white mustard herbaceous plant is native to Europe and bears yellow flower heads. It can be used internally, popular for treatment of constipation, indigestion, and gastrointestinal diseases (anti-inflammatory, coating, laxative, and digestive-stimulating effects).
Probably one of the most photographed exhibits at the Kelvingrove museum in Glasgow.. The heads are meant to depict four diferent facial expressions . My day of culture was ruined when I described one of the heads as "constipation"

Lessens time and degree of inflammation;
Pineapple enzymes have been used with success to treat rheumatoid arthritis and tospeed tissue repair as a result of injuries, diabetic ulcers and general surgery;
Bromelain enzymes are present in raw pineapple or freshly squeezed juice;
Pineapple enzymes act specifically to break down protein, helping to ease digestion;
Reduces blood clotting and helps remove plaque from arterial walls. Studies suggest that pineapple enzymes may improve circulation in those with narrowed arteries, such as angina sufferers;
Used to help cure bronquitis, throat infections; it has a laxative effect, helps to clear digestive inflammation and intestinal fevers;

Identification on the verso as Caroline Hindman.
Caroline Hindman was born circa 1846. She passed away in Matton, Illinois in 1869.
Photographer Walter Kilner was born circa 1847 in New York, the son of Doctor George Kilner. He began his photography career circa 1863, when he paid for a Class B license in Mattoon. In April 1864, he was advertising his location in newspapers as "In Car, southeast corner Broadway and 1st Streets." That same newspaper had an ad for his father, George Kilner, as physician and "Oculist and Aurist". Walter later gave up photography and became a druggist in Mattoon. In 1892, he was advertising "cupidene", a restorer of manhood. "This great Vegetable Vitalizer, the prescription of a famous French physician, will quickly cure you of all Pains in the Back, Seminal Emissions, Nervous Debility, Pimples, Unfitness to Marry, Exhausting Drains, Varicocele and Constipation. It stops all losses by day or night. Prevents quickness of discharge, which if not checked leads to Spermatorrhoea and all the horrors of impotency. Cupidene cleanses the liver, the kidneys and the urinary organs of all impurities. Cupidene strengthens and restores small weak organs." It appears that he may have relocated to Springfield, Illinois. Walter Kilner passed away circa 1914.

Here's a couple of things these essential oils have been said to help with:
Ginger oil is used in the treatment of fractures, rheumatism, arthritis, bruising, carbuncles, nausea, hangovers, travel and sea sickness, colds and flu, catarrh, congestion, coughs, sinusitis, sores on the skin, sore throat, diarrhea, colic, cramps, chills and fever.
Black Pepper is a warming oil can be used to great effect to help circulation and bruising and specifically to help with muscle tone, aching limbs and rheumatoid arthritis. It further helps to promote digestion, the colon as well as the kidneys.
Orange oil can be used effectively on the immune system, as well as for colds and flu and to eliminate toxins from the body.It is a good diuretic and is most useful in balancing water retention and obesity. Its lymphatic stimulant action further helps to balance water processes, detoxification, aiding the immune system and general well-being.
Lemon oil can be very beneficial to the circulatory system and aids with blood flow, reducing blood pressure and helping with nosebleeds. It can help bring down fever, helps relieve throat infections, bronchitis, asthma and flu. It boosts the immune system and cleanses the body, improves the functions of the digestive system, and it is helpful with constipation, dyspepsia and cellulite. It can be helpful for arthritis, rheumatism and poor circulation, as well as for obesity and cellulite and has an astringent and toning action to clear oily skin and acne, and also helps with herpes, insect bites and cuts.
Grapefruit has a high vitamin C content and is therefore valuable to the immune system. It helps protect against colds and flu, has a very positive effect on obesity and also has diuretic properties, helping to remove excess water from the body and is therefore also great for treating cellulite. It has an uplifting effect on the mood and helps with stress and depression. It is used with great success to combat muscle fatigue and stiffness while stimulating the lymphatic system and thereby clearing the body of toxins. *Keep Walking.....*
Jus to check this out.......
The Organs of your body have their sensory touches at the bottom of your
foot, if you massage these points you will find relief from aches and pains
as you can see the heart is on the left foot.
Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it
connects to.
It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate
here.
This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks.
God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk
so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping
these organs activated at all times.
So, keep walking...

...* DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH*
It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up
every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven a its value. We
publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and
serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been
found successful by a Japanese med ical society as a 100% cure for the
following diseases:
Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy,
excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine
diseases, vomiting, ga str itis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation,
all eye diseases, womb, cancer and ear nose and throat diseases. *
METHOD OF TREATMENT*
1. As you wake up in the morning *before brushing teeth*, drink 4 x 160ml
glasses of water .....interesting
2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes
3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink
anything for 2 hours
5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at
the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it
to 4 glasses per day.
6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others
can enjoy a healthy life.
The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to
cure/control/reduce main diseases:
1. High Blood Pressure - 30 days
2. Ga str ic - 10 days
3. Diabetes - 30 days
4. Constipation - 10 days
5. Cancer - 180 days
6. TB - 90 days
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in
the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwa rd s - daily.
This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of
treatment you may have to urinate a few times.
It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work
in our life.
Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.
This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals
..not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while
eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water
will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed . It will slow down
the digestion.
Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed
by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink
hot soup or warm water after a meal.
*
A serious note about heart attacks*: Women should know that not every heart
attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.
Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart
attack..
Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be
aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to everyone they
know, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

A wild riot of colour as thousands celebrate London's Gay Pride Parade 2011. London 02.07.2011
This Saturday July 2nd 2011 saw the explosion of colour and fabulous carnival/cabaret fancy-dress which is the annual Gay Pride parade passing through the packed London streets as many Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender groups representing special interest campaigning groups, trade unions, the armed forces, police service, christian groups and several of London's gay bars and clubs celebrated their sexuality and diversity, watched and cheered on by tens of thousands of enthusiastic members of the public.
The days celebrations were purposefully snubbed by London mayor Boris Johnson much to the anger and irritation of many, since Mr. Johnson is expected to show support for all Londoners. However, his greatest opponent in the upcoming mayoral elections, former London Mayor Ken Livingstone was to be seen - as always - at the head of the parade, accompanied by human and gay rights activist Peter Tatchell.
Gone was the nervous tension of the original trail-blazing Gay Pride marches of the late 1970's and early 80's, as a new generation of gay people enjoy far greater public acceptance of their lifestyle in what feel like more enlightened times. What is taken for granted now was fought for in the past by courageous activists and their political supporters who wanted to see an end to the homophobic bigotry and institutionalised discrimination which used to be the universal public position towards them.
Having said that, there was a demonstration set up at the bottom of Waterloo Place by a group of so-called Christians from the Baptist Church - some of whom looked like they had been time-warped directly from the 1950's, complete with emotional constipation - who spent the entire afternoon insulting and demeaning all gay people and anyone who accepts homosexuality as a part of the enormously wide spectrum of human sexuality by cherry-picking snippets from the Bible completely without proper context, and generally showing themselves up to be nothing more than a bunch of hate-filled bigots who hilariously claim to love the people they were standing there belittling.
My photos of the Baptists and the crowd's reactions to being assaulted by the pious abuse are already uploaded in my set "Baptists preach intolerance at Gay Pride Parade".
After the parade made its way from Portland Place to Trafalgar Square, the marchers and bystanders alike dispersed into Soho for some serious street partying which lasted late into the night. There was a main stage in Trafalgar Square which hosted a long rosta of minor-league pop and dance acts during the afternoon, though oddly this year there were no big-name headliners, and another Dance Stage in Soho Square which featured a great line-up of club DJs.
