The serpentine form is complemented by a conforming pinkish brown marble top. The exquisite carvings of the apron that hang below at the center make it appear as though it were weighed down by an abundance of flowers, foliage and palmettes. The bold Flemish scroll legs that end in whorl feet usually featured in late Baroque furniture are joined together by the elaborate x-stretchers at the center, punctuated by a bulbous Baroque style urn finial.
