The space previously occupied by the organ console at St Peter's Church Nottingham since 1983. We await the arrival of the new console later this year.
Since nature abhors a vacuum, the space is currently filled by a lectern and a portable altar.
Fr. Jordan Kelly, O.P. sits behind the organ console playing the prelude.

St. Gertrude celebrated installation of the pipe organ with solemn vespers. During the vespers service the organ was blessed for its holy service to the liturgy. After vespers a new reliquary, was blessed an installed beneath the altar of sacrifice.
The smoke was blinding, and probably cancer-inducing, so weused the fire extinguishers to put it out.
The video of the whole event will go on YouTube some time soon.
