The River Kelvin (right) flows into the Clyde. Very placid, no signs of Storm Frank here, no raging torrents, mill-pond smooth.
Langden Brook flowing into the River Hodder. We followed the Hodder into Dunsop Bridge and then headed up towards the Trough Of Bowland to pick up Langden Brook and follow it all the way up to the watershed on the fells.
Film d'essai (test film) of July 7, of the Canon FD lens 1:2.8 f=28mm with my Canon F-1 SLR (year 1973).
Ilford FP4+ exposed for 125 ISO at developed using Tetenal UltraFin T-Plus at dilution 1+4 for 8 min at 22°C. The film was exposed following the readings of the Canon F-1 or a Minolta Autometer III fitted with a 10° finder privileging the shadow zones.
The Canon FD lens was equipped with a Hoya HMC expert UV-protection filter (55mm) without shade hood.

After process the film was digitalized using a Sony A7 body and a Minolta Slide Duplicator with a Minolta Auto Bellows III with a lens Minolta Bellow Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5.

Confluence 2019 is the third edition of Photographic Society of Madras's Members Photo Exhibition. 250 Images of 87 photographers in 30 " x 20 " framed will be on display. You will find different genres of photographs ranging from travel, monochrome, landscape, wildlife, monuments, street and portraits. Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia...at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers.
The city was founded in 1857 by Chinese tin miners. In 1880 the British government transferred their headquarters from Klang to Kuala Lumpur, and in 1896 it became the capital of the Federated Malay States ~Columbia Encyclopedia.
At this confluence of Sungai Gombak (previously known as Sungai Lumpur, which means muddy river) and Sungai Klang (Klang River), and hence derived the name Kuala Lumpur which literally means “muddy estuary” in Bahasa Malaysia,
