A dredging barge completes operations on the Regnitz River before heading up the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal (far right) towards Regensburg. At the northern tip of the Bamberg Island in Erba Park, I crouched in mid-day sun at the edge of the river with my camera between my knees, or perhaps closer to my feet. It was a beautiful fall day. The confluence of East Gill with the River Swale, near Keld in the Yorkshire Dales. I used an ND1000 filter for this shot.
The Taylor River joins the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. At sunset, light reflects off Garfield Mountain.
Devprayag is situated at an altitude of 830mts above sea level at the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River.
Most Monday afternoons I get some free time, so if the conditions are ok I'll grab the gear and head out - this week with all the insanity over a flu strain getting around, the chance to catch some head space and a sunset was quite what the Dr ordered.
Love getting up to Carrington falls at any time but today was particularly tasty... Hope you enjoy the view.

Depuis les crêtes du Morgon, vous plongrez sur la confluence de l(Ubaye à gauche acec la Durance à droite. Perché juste au-dessus, le village du Sauze-du-Lac (voir : ; dans le même axe, vous distinguerez le barrage de Serre-ponçon, puis successivement le petit lac de retenue d'Espinasse à sa base et toujours plus loin le canal EDF qui zigzague au pied des montagnes jusqu'au tunnel qui l'amène à l'usine électrique de Curbans. Un peu plus à gauche, au-delà de l'Ubaye vous trouverez le village de La Bréole, devenu depuis Ubaye-Serre-Ponçon. La rive droite de la Durance est dominée par le mont Colombis.
