A stream runs into the Green River in Nairn Provincial Park forming one of the small waterfalls along the river.
Young and, I think, female bighorn sheep at the Confluence in Yellowstone National Park. The Confluence is a place in Lamar Valley, where the Soda Butte Creek is joining the Lamar River. A rock outcrop next to the river is often visited by a herd of bighorn sheep, while the flats on other side of the river may have bison, coyotes, and sometimes wolves. Plus eagles, ducks, and other birds. A great place for wildlife!

The same view as flic.kr/p/nNBjQe but without flags this time... Though the one with flags is my favourite one..
One is a shining blue river. The other is dirty green. Both of them originate in the high Himalayas. While the Indus originates in the Changthang Cold Desert, the Zanskar river originates in the Zanskar ranges. Both these Himalayan rivers join at a scenic setting near the town of Nimmu in Ladakh.

This stunning winter scene was photographed at the Confluence along the Banks to Lowman Rd in Idaho. A scene that speaks for itself, winter's elegance in 15 degrees.

Looking down at the confluence of the Indus and Zansakr Rivers and the Sangam Cafe, a major stop along the Srinagar-Leh Highway, Ladakh. The confluence is near one of the very few bridges that cross the Indus River in this remote area, located just upstream. A few tiny people walk along the shore.

Confluence of Indus River on left which looks a bit greenish and Zanskar coming from right with a muddy color. Both merge at this confluence and then flow towards Pakistan!

Quite something to see them so close together. I find it hard to capture that in a photo.
This 10,000 square foot mural captures the confluence of people who helped build Denver into the city that it is today
When sunlight, rain and the Grass Tree flow together a unique opportunity takes place to see three of God's creations working hand in hand.

Passau is a city in Lower Bavaria, Germany, also known as the Dreiflüssestadt ("City of Three Rivers") as the river Danube is joined by the Inn from the south and the Ilz from the north. Passau's population is approx. 50,000, of whom about 12,000[3] are students at the University of Passau.
