Valerie is such a blast to shoot with. She is funny, sweet, gorgeous, and pretty adventurous - she also doesn't like the cold so she was hesitant about getting in the river but she rocked it. Some of the photographers wanted to practice night shots so Val joined us - we're glad she did!

I took these photos at Star River Walk Park in July 2021.

In the summer of 2014 my sister and I went interrailing through Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Serbia) and with bus up the Adriatic coast from Montenegro to Croatia, passing through Bosnia and Hercegovina as well. This photo was taken in Brasov in Romania. An old little Hollywood aspiring town that has the narrowest street in Europe.

I know I know ... Rule number one of street photography, never take a photo from behind... but as this man walked past me I just felt that this view really captured the essence of his confidence... I also feel the geometry within the photo parallels this theme quite nicely.

No sweat, I've got ahold of him & he's not getting up.
