Guided by production designer Stuart Craig, dozens of concept artists, illustrators and art directors created every environment, prop and character of the Harry Potter series. Each design went through several different iterations as it was tweaked and finally perfected. Then the artwork went off to draughtsmen, model makers and digital artists to be developed and constructed for filming.
“The process is magical. Artists turn pencil doodles into beautiful classical paintings with a digital brush.”- Stuart Craig, production designer.

Holly assembled this piece of conceptual horticulture from items found around the garden whilst I was doing a spot of landscaping. I kinda liked it and left it for the turf to mature :-)
Citroën DS Wild Rubis Concept, hybride 295 ch

Here is a concept for a Tesla Cybermask-inspired facemask. Not sure if it will work (metal!) but sure looks 'cyber' futuristic to me.

We had a visit in Clarendon today from none other than Chris Lieto's Trek Speed Concept TTX! This machine is unbelievably sweet! The biggest eye-catcher (or lack thereof in this case) is there are no visible cables (except rear derailleur)!

Peugeot introduced a web-based amateur style competition at the 2002 Paris Motor Show[1], inviting aspiring designers to create a completely unhinged retro-futurist design that incorporated distinct styling features of a historic Peugeot model. A total of 2800 proposals from 90 countries were registered, and Stephen Schulze, a 32-year-old German graphic artist, was selected as the winner. At the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, Schulze was awarded a trophy and €5000, and it was announced that Peugeot would create a full-scale version of the design.

The completed design was shown at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show. It featured a body of aluminum and fiberglass, and 21-inch wheels. The 4002 incorporated headlights hidden behind the grille itself, as a stylistic nod to the streamlined Peugeot 402 from 1936. As merely a show car, it was not powered and not road-legal. As a styling experiment, the car was considered dynamic, glamorous, and supremely daring, but probably too extreme to predict any real influence on future Peugeot designs.

The initial sketch for the idea after I read the concept description. The garments themselves were inspired by fabrics I knew I had on-hand (sheers, and some starry-print scraps), and the wings by materials I thought I had on hand (turned out the star gems I had were both too few in number and not suited for this project).
