Day 178 of 365. I'm a big fan of the Final Fantasy series by Square Enix (formerly Squaresoft). You can say I became obsessed with the world of Final Fantasy. I had all the game scores, concept arts, movie trailers, even read the fan fictions. Now I find it impossible to commit to role-playing games. I just don't have the time.
One of the memorable characters in the game was Mr. Tonberry. He's a green guy (more like a lizard/salamander) who wears a robe, carries a lantern in one hand, and a knife in the other. He walks slowly yet can really take a beating. You'll shriek in terror as he slowly inches towards you, ready to slash you with that knife.
Shot this while there was a blackout.
Strobist info: 1 snooted SB800 w/ CTO clamped above subject (CLS TTL -0.7), 1 SB800 w/ omnibounce on the ground behind subject (SU-4 M 1/16). WB shifted to tungsten to turn the ambience blue.

This is the result of one week's work and fervor on NiGHTS Into Dreams...
Behind all four Visitors are the concept arts of all 3 of their respective Nightopias, with both of the fourth and final Nightopias, as well as the Dream Gate, behind NiGHTS himself, who has his outfit divided between the Journey of Dreams one and the Into Dreams... one (Which is my favorite).
They are all sitting on one of the Five Ideyas of Nightopia.
NiGHTS is sitting on the strongest one - the Red Ideya of Courage.
Elliott is on the Blue Ideya of Intelligence (Or Wisdom, depending on your sources. I go either way.).
Claris is sitting on the Yellow Ideya of Hope.
Will is sitting on the Green Ideya of Growth.
And Helen is on the White Ideya of Purity.
Below the Ideya themselves are the diamonds that you see at the end of NiGHTS Into Dreams... on Elliott and Claris's side and Blue Chips on Helen and Wills' side.
Following a same simple pattern I tried design many dresses or combinations for women fighters or princesses. They were done in 2003. I used a mix of pencils, markers and for some even nail polish.
I plan use some of them soon in MOCs.
