Light Scultpure Chain Reaction is featured in the international dance production ‘Extremalism’ by Ballet National de Marseille and ICKamsterdam.
Studio Stallinga collaborated closely with choreographers Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten to transfigure his light sculpture Chain Reaction to perform as if it were one of the dansers, with its own act, its own dance.

30 november 2018 is vanaf nu een memorabele dag in mijn agenda! Op deze dag verkoop ik mijn zelfportret. Dit portret heb ik geschilderd ter gelegenheid van de Saskia400 expositie in het HCL te Leeuwarden. Deze expositie werd georganiseerd ter nagedachtenis van de 400 verjaardag van Saskia van Uylenburgh de eerste vrouw van Rembrandt van Rijn. In 2012 schilderde ik dit portret geïnspireerd door de portretten die Rembrandt van zijn muze Saskia maakte. Door de techniek van Rembrandt toe te passen is in dit schilderij de versterking van de lichtval goed te zien. Rembrandt paste deze techniek altijd in zijn werken toe, door eerst een vette witte olieverf laag met reliëf op te zetten op alle lichte delen van het doek. Na het drogen van deze laag schilderde hij daar over heen.
