I ordered a new macbook to replace my aging 12 inch powerbook G4. I upgraded the ram and hard drive. Decided against the extra $1000 bucks for the Pro. Anyone have one of these? How do you like it? What are your thoughts?
Though I'm not sure if she has much functionality outside of looking alternately cute and murderous.
Oh, and sleeping. If that counts as a function.

Every time you walk away for a few minutes, the kids get better. I'm still blown away with how fast they could learn.
Since there were only 20 computers and 60 kids a class, they have to divide up the group. There are still two or three students working on one computer (that is when there is electricity).

Now this is getting scary Jess my three year old daughter sat at the computer playing games on Cbeebies website and not just randomly clicking on things but actually doing it properly

The Richmond Hill Block Association Children's Program
Covering the center for the Queens Chronicle, which will be on tomorrow's cover.
Computer Technology and Videoconferencing Program for children ages 8 -12.
They have a live feed from NASA (which we got to see today... wonderful) and tomorrow they get to have live interactive feed with the Cleveland Zoo.
They were amazing kids with such bright futures and smiles... Thank you for a wonderful morning.
Teachers Chistine Miller and Robert Malchow were wonderful too.
