I was tagged by Connie & Sabine. Thank you :)
It's self-explanatory... just post a doll with a necklace!
I will tag as many as possible (which isn't too many as I'm on an uncomfortable, rickety stool at the moment as Mr Scabs is sleeping in my computer chair!) but consider yourself tagged if you're viewing this picture !
This chap lives under the computer, he has a nice soft tummy to polish the screen.
The Our Daily Challenge group has chosen Critter as today's topic.
Free 486 base unit for anyone who can collect from London SE13, UK.
50 throbbing megahertz of raw computing power can be yours.
Generic 486 PC base unit, needs new 3.6v CMOS battery. Stuck a tiny 100MB hard drive in it just to prove it starts up. Has keyboard, mouse, floppy drive, Soundblaster soundcard, 3com ethernet card, CD-ROM drive (will not boot from CD ROM though).
Seems to work but no proper OS installed, and without that CMOS battery you'll be typing numbers into the CMOS each time to get it to see the hard drive.
Sorry, monitor not included!
Would suit mad masochist trying to get some obscure Linux distro running on the lowest spec machine in the universe.
The Guelph Technology Showcase 2.0 took place in the Science Complex Atrium Jan. 29. Companies had a chance to show off their products and discuss career opportunities, while students could make connections and chat to alumni of the Computer Science department and other related programs at the U of G.

My main computer, The Slut. Note the $1 bill in the 5.25" floppy drive. Yes, it has a 5.25" floppy drive.
Now containing 100% more CD burners! I'm only about five years behind everyone else.

A quick edit that I have produced using a real photo of the NNRG's preserved Leyland National 2: 4710 - FTN710W and a computer generated edit of their 4861 - UPT681V. 4710 is in NBC Northern red, with 4681 in a post-deregulation Northern red/white livery.
4681 is currently under restoration in the ownership of the NNRG.
Lighting:
Bare flash camera left bounced off white blinds - triggered w/ cactus V2.
Flash on the floor pointed up at the shelves with orange gel - optical trigger.

Plenty of space for moving between the rows of computers which is nice for having people work together or being able to help people out.
My old computer chair broke a wheel a couple of weeks ago and I finally got around to buying a new chair online through www.DealsDirect.com My favourite colour is red and when I saw this in their catalogue I couldn't resist. It arrived and we assembled it and it is so comfortable. Padded arms, thick upholstery and red. :)
