This 3D model is based on the Volkswagen Amarok. It was created using Autodesk Maya and rendered with Mental Ray. This render is using Maya's Ink and Paint materials.

Section through the Mandelbrot-Julia set, defined as the points (z,c) in C^2 where z_{n+1}=z_n^2+c does not diverge for z_0=z. This section corresponds to c=0.4*i+a real number. The color denotes the magnitude of the smallest iterate.

The full leftmost image, after transform. Some errors undoubtedly creep in, because here we have applied *four* separate projective transforms, each with their own small error, introduced by the methods used to obtain the transform.
High-Poly render of my homage to Halo: Reach. The DMR is my favorite weapon, and Halo is my favorite game series. Easy choice for a side project!

Montage of NASA images (all computer graphics) showing the major phases and milestones for this December's Orion capsule test flight. I think the images are arranged (mostly) in sequential order from launch to splash-down and recovery. (I have to get used to saying "splash-down" again...)
