My first attempt at a live video transmitting mid-power rocket. Inspired by www.csh.rit.edu/~soup/cvscam/
Estes Canadian Arrow upgraded to accept E class engines, 1-inch fin extensions to increase stability, Kevlar shock cords for two rip-stop nylon 18" parachutes...one for the body tube, and one of for the nosecone camera assembly.
Nosecone Kevlar cord is attached to the tip of the cone, to allow for downward-facing video during decent.
After final painting, just have to complete the handheld 2.4 gHz directional receiver tracking antenna, and we will be go for throttle up.

This Furball managed to log me out of Picnik before I had a chance to save the changes to the picture I was editing.
For some odd reason, this has become his favourite spot. Slumbering close to the router, watching us working with the computer.
He obviously snapped up a couple of things since he is now quite comfortable using the mouse and, to some extent, even the keyboard. Sigh.

I won that Commodore 64 in a video game contest. The next year I got a modem (1200 baud, I think).
....but at the last moment, thanks to the buildings WiFi, homicide was averted, when he found an online video of the whole sleezy christmas fiasco, and how 'willing participant', 'wife', & 'liar' go hand in hand in hand... Time for mr smarts to go home and address his Lady...
I definitely had to have this one (for the falcon alone) but I needed luke and han in storm trooper attire! so cool! Behind the star wars mini cartoony figures are Lego minifigures series seven, 9 of the 16 in this set. These are great! :) So stoked on wat I pulled! They come in blind bags, but you can sorta feel up and find wat u want. I was being rushed or I woulda got all sixteen. X)
These earrings were lovingly handcrafted with Art Clay Silver.
Art Clay Silver is a combination of fine silver (.999 silver), organic binders and water. After firing it in my kiln, the organic binders burn away and what is left is 99.9% fine silver.
I have tumbled these earrings for added strength and polished them to a mirror finish.
The squares are almost 11/16ths of an inch x 11/16ths of an inch and hang about 3/4 of an inch from the top of the earring wires.

This was shot with my Dad's Polaroid Pathfinder 120 Camera. The Type 47 Black & White ASA 3000 film expired back in October 1970 (Best Use) and the first three shots were horrible. This was the sixth shot. The actual image came out better , but decided I'd shoot it with my Droid to post.
