What self-respecting evil genius wouldn't have a marquee floor in the entrance to their most private of chambers in their secret lair??
Oooh was this fun!!! A lot of the basic frameworks you guys have seen me using should hopefully all work great! It's amazing how much this project is actually starting to feel like "Evil Genius!"
Oh and I'm definitely going to need to be painting some pieces if I want a deep desert-night sky colored floor like they have in the game.
Those "doorways" or beams which cross the entry foyer were really just slapped together, and will eventually get some more attention.
More to the Inner Sanctum coming next week: this time, furniture!

Assassin's Creed Origins is a game published by Ubisoft. This image is taken with the in-game photo mode. I use an X-box controller connected to my PC and access the photo mode by pressing F3.

This appears to be a battle at sea.
A pistol (computer game - like?) is shooting at a sailing ship.
Also, you can see an anchor, an underwater mountain, a submarine passing by and two clouds.
One the clouds has the label "Cao" engraved.
This label is referring to the computer game Kao the kangaroo (in Romanian we use "C" instead of "K" except for some neologisms and foreign names, so my son wrote "Kao" it with "C").
He had been playing Kao a lot until I removed it because I had become unhappy with the amount of time spent on the computer.

I didn't notice that it was the full ghost chasing Pac-Man, with the little pellets made of floppy discs... until now :)
I only noticed the ghost, and didn't make the connection with the yellow Pac-Man and the floppy discs.

Tsuyoshi Nagano born 1961 in Tokyo, is a Japanese illustrator known for his Three Kingdoms and Sengoku Jidai themed artworks. He graduated at Nihon University College of Art and began his career as a freelance artist.
His working history with Koei began in 1995 when they hired him to draw the cover art for their games. Nagano has also done illustrations of various franchises including Star Wars. He is affiliated with the Society of Illustrators and the Japan Publication Artist League.
Nagano mainly uses oil on canvas while his visual style is a blend of realism and surrealism. Although his portfolio mostly consists of montages depicting historical figures, he has expressed an interest in doing more illustrated posters for films.
Finding the alien crash site gains you one of the most powerful weapons in the game, the ray gun. Rather disappointingly, while being definitely powerful, the effect isn't all that impressive.
I was hoping for something like the target lighting up like an X-ray skeleton (in a Tom & Jerry fashion)...Or, the enemy inflating and eventually exploding or something...
But no. You fire, they die. Ho hum!
EDIT: I've noticed the huge amount of hits this photo has been getting - well over a thousand so far. So apologies to any of you who have come here in hope I will divulge the location of the crashed spacecraft - as you see, I don't!

A computer version of what hipsters call a "mix tape", this is a ZX Spectrum games compilation tape, lovingly crafted by Adrian Darwin and featuring a colour-pencil rendition of the Sinclair Spectrum colour-slash.
I borrowed this in the mid-80's and I expect he wants it back.
