YOU DON'T KNOW JACK was a great computer trivia game in the 1990's and 2000's for PC and Mac. It provided hours of fun for all. This is my homage to that great game.

When I dug up this screen shot I thought 'surely not'! But this IS what had so many of us burning the midnight oil in the early 90s.
Heroes of the Pacific: Evocative shot of my P80B jet - this is the second unlock version of this jet in the game. Aside from the speed advantage armour and guns aren't up to much.

Heroes of the Pacific may be long in the tooth now, but it's a fun game that is available at budget prices. Here my Royal Navy Gannet (Hellcat) takes on a Japanese fighter over the Pacific.
The British did take part in the Pacific theatre to a less significant extent than our American allies. But we were there - and British Gannets played their part against the ferocious Kamikaze waves.

A screenshot capture of two characters that I created while playing the open beta of Champions Online, a super hero MMORPG game played on the PC that launches Sept 1 2009
This game from Novalogic marked my transition from Apple Mac gaming to PC gaming. It was also my very first go at competing against a large number of online players, AND introduced me to the [BIG] clan!
This was a very innovative game, which sadly floundered as Novalogic failed to keep up with players requests for particular improvements. Huge numbers of us migrated over to Battlefield 2 when it was released - BF2 was the nail in the coffin for Joint Ops.

Yoshi and I managed to get press passes to E3! For those of you who don't know what E3 is, its every nerd's wet dream. I've wanted to go to this thing since I owned my first computer. It's a very large convention that showcases all of the stuff that will change the gaming industry over the next couple of years. Stuff that no one else has ever seen before and stuff that you get to try out. Things such as the Xbox 360 and every other new system and game that will hit the market in the next year or two. The thing is that this event isn't open to the public, you either have to be in the industry or have a press pass. I happen to have the latter. So right after finals, it's off to California I go.
About this Photo: Yet again this is another example of the use of Microsoft's creative interior design muscle. Will they ever run out of design ideas for demo booths?
