Heres my laptop. Its decent. I use it for the ordinary. Sometimes games even though the graphics reek. Actually. They are pretty good if you ask me.
With more time to kill, Jack and I checked out Paul Allen's Living Computer Museum and saw old home computers and mainframes, many of which allow interaction.
I wont turn it on yet. In an hour I'll take it to my mac guy and he'll do the transfer (migration) thing with firewire to move everything from the old mac to the one blue baby.
The news director gives these out if you do something awesome (for a certain value of awesome). Rich, whose desk this is, has quite a few. Does that mean his awesomeness quotient is higher than anyone else's?
Need to work on a paper? The McGovern Library computer lab (Rm 200) upstairs is open for student use when not reserved for instruction.

OK, i've been busy... work been hectic, and my old Sony has been playing up, but now have my new Vaio
4 GB ram - 250GB HD - 2.5kHtz Core Duo... FAST!!! oh... and it has a sim card built in so i can go on line anywhere (there is a 3G signal that is!)
Someone had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make this statue to the I.T gods. Or maybe it was a sacrificial altar for computers that have gone bad (don't we all have one of those!)
So I decided to light it up. (Sparkler toss idea from Proper_dave)
