A drink up in Phil's room to celebrate the passing of the CompSci
progress tests; being neither a CompSci or a drinker, I was not the
target audience. Asking Tom to put on his suave face - together with
his hair, which looked like something straight out of an advert for
l'Oreal - gave a picture that I found absurdly funny.
This is from my computer science class. The guy in the pink shirt is Ellis (he put all his whites in the dryer with blue detergent and ran it for an hour), the guy next to him is Austin (he has an Alpaca ranch in the Middle of Nowhere, Texas), and the other dude is Lasun (who has to be one of the bluntest people I've ever met...and the only person I've ever known who has used "triumverate"in a sentence and wasn't talking about the Roman Empire).
The mammouth hellfest that is Glasgow Uni's Boyd Orr Building. I was incarcerated halfway up it for my unsuccessful CompSci degree. Doesn't look like a seventies nightmare unlike a lot of the Uni's 90s structures.
