Nearly 40 companies participated in this year’s event, ranging from local software giant Epic to California-headquartered Google, which opened a Madison office in 2008.
Participating companies must have an IT presence in the Madison area or be members of the computer sciences department’s Industrial Affiliates Program, which promotes ties between the university and private industry.

It was rainy, windy, and too cold for my taste. I think everyone else felt the same way because not too many people showed up.
I guess my college roommate and I were always opposites, in a way. This was
my graduation day, getting my BS in CompSci from UNCA.
