I don't really know what to call this thing, but it's an indicator on my Mark Bass ta501 amplifier. It shows how much load there is on the built inn tubecompressor. Anyway, it looks really cool
This is an old compressor/generator on a built-in trailer that was used to power the air drills for drilling into the granite of the mountain. It is located way up in the bowl above the Gold Cord Mine and above the Elevation cabin.
I spent most of the day waiting and watching while workmen spent time getting my two new air conditioning and heating systems installed. This included using a crane to lift the two compressor units onto the (high) roof as well as bringing the old (dead) compressors down. It's in the 90's now and I will be really happy to have some air conditioning soon. For now I am holed up in a hotel.
