Nella sua carriera ha collaborato con numerosi artisti di fama internazionale come Sean Paul, Sofia Mestari, Nicole Sherzinger (Pussycat Dolls) e Melissa N 'Konda, oltre ad aver registrato le colonne sonore di numerosi film. Influenzata da artisti come Billie Holiday e i The Beatles, Kim crea in musica un mix di blues, jazz e pop, il tutto impreziosito da un’attitudine elegante, dolce e sensuale: in una parola “frenchy”, termine che da il nome al suo album d’esordio.
Kim Colett is a young self-made French composer, singer and performer. She wrote her first song at the age of seven. During her career she collaborated with numerous international artists such as Sean Paul, Sofia Mestari, Nicole Sherzinger (Pussycat Dolls) and Melissa N ‘Konda as well as recording a number of film soundtracks. Influenced by artists such as Billie Holliday and The Beatles, Kim creates a musical mix of blues, jazz and pop refined by her elegant, sweet and sensual attitude: in one word “frenchy”, definition which gives the title to her debut album.

Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen Cabuli, de son nom de scène Tarja Turunen est née à Kitee en Finlande, le 17 août 1977. Artiste lyrique, compositrice et pianiste finlandaise. Tarja est devenue mondialement célèbre en tant que chanteuse du groupe de metal symphonique finlandais Nightwish entre 1996 et 2005. Aujourd'hui, elle poursuit une carrière solo.
Tarja a commencé sa carrière musicale officiellement en 1996 quand le groupe Nightwish fut fondé par Tuomas Holopainen. Tarja a chanté pour le groupe jusqu'en octobre 2005 ; c'est dans une lettre ouverte à la presse que le groupe se sépare d'elle. En novembre 2005, Tarja a commencé une tournée de concerts de Noël en solo qui s'est poursuivie jusqu'à la fin de l'année 2005. Tarja est l'une des chanteuses les plus populaires de son pays. Elle a été élue voix de la Finlande par l'ancienne présidente du pays Tarja Halonen. Tarja est constamment appelée à participer aux émissions de télé-crochet à la télévision finlandaise ou comme jury pour des concours locaux. Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen-Cabuli (born 17 August 1977), known professionally as Tarja Turunen or simply Tarja, is a Finnish singer-songwriter. She is a soprano and has a vocal range of three octaves.[1]
Turunen studied singing at Sibelius Academy and Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. She is a professional classical lied singer, and the former lead vocalist of the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, which she founded with Tuomas Holopainen and Emppu Vuorinen in 1996. Their combination of hard and fast guitar riffs with Turunen's dramatic, "operatic" lead vocals quickly achieved critical and commercial popularity. Their symphonic metal style, soon dubbed "opera metal", inspired many other metal bands and performers.

Le sonorità di questo gruppo romano affonda le sue radici nella tradizione del jazz con riferimento alle formazioni guidate da Nat King Cole, Shirley Horn e Blossom Dearie e potrebbe anche essere un omaggio alle grandi interpreti del jazz che hanno fatto da front per le grandi orchestre e diretto i loro gruppi, come ad esempio Peggy Lee, June Christie, Julie London, Anita O'Day, solo per citarne alcune. Del gruppo -un classico quintetto - fanno parte affermati musicisti italiani e la pianista, cantante, compositrice Silvia Manco. Vincitrice col trio che porta il suo nome del premio “Porsche Jazz” 2006 è una musicista che vanta collaborazioni con artisti quali Roberto Gatto, Renzo Arbore o Lino Patruno.
This Italian quintet, from Rome, plays music inspired by Nat King Cole, Shirley Horn, and Blossom Dearie. The formation can be seen a homage to the great jazz singers who were front women for great orchestras (such as Peggy Lee, June Christie, Julie London, and Anita O'Day). The classic quintet comprises well-known Italian musicians and pianist, singer, and composer Silvia Manco, winner of the 2006 “Porsche Jazz” (together with her trio) who has collaborated with famous Italian artists such as Roberto Gatto, Renzo Arbore, and Lino Patruno.

This Italian quintet, from Rome, plays music inspired by Nat King Cole, Shirley Horn, and Blossom Dearie. The formation can be seen a homage to the great jazz singers who were front women for great orchestras (such as Peggy Lee, June Christie, Julie London, and Anita O'Day). The classic quintet comprises well-known Italian musicians and pianist, singer, and composer Silvia Manco, winner of the 2006 “Porsche Jazz” (together with her trio) who has collaborated with famous Italian artists such as Roberto Gatto, Renzo Arbore, and Lino Patruno.

Una voce diversamente incredibile, sussurrata eppure così suadente, un talento innato e una capacità interpretativa come nessuno oggi. Questa é Gretchen Parlato, tre dischi a proprio nome e ospite in decine di album di altri compositori. Una vera star del jazz americano e richiestissima per il suo indiscutibile talento al passo (vero) con i tempi. Nulla di quello che fu il Jazz cantato, ha lasciato traccia nel suo modo di cantare, in lei solo rimane integra quella capacità tipica del jazz di sottolineare ogni nota e di risalire per poi discendere ardite scale, insomma l’uso della voce come un vero e proprio strumento. Perché questo e' il jazz e lei, Gretchen, lo sa fare benissimo.
La Masterclass con Miss. Parlato, presso la scuola del S. Louis, per cantanti apprendiste o esperte e' assolutamente da non perdere. Anche per capire che il jazz si è veramente evoluto oltreoceano e ormai libero da dinamiche (ben superate) del mainstream, nella cui trappola ammaliatrice molte cantanti di oggi continuano a cadere, vola alto.

The group’s sensational debut means more concert bookings for Canada’s Pacific coast (Sidney/Victoria, Nanaimo and Vancouver are on the calendar for October/November 2015). At the same time, they’ll visit the newly re-opened Turtle Recording Studios of Larry Anschell and team to capture some of their musical magic in high-fidelity.
