A whole maket stall dedicated to Electronic Components at Shibuya Market in Tokyo. Things that apparently one can only purchase out of a catalogue on our side of the world...
The fan seized in the power supply for my server and the unit cooked itself. So while I was stripping it for parts I thought it was kind of cool looking, so I setup some foamcore for a background and took a couple pics.
The crabeater seal is a true seal with a circumpolar distribution around the coast of Antarctica. They are medium- to large-sized (over 2 m in length), relatively slender and pale-colored, found primarily on the free-floating pack ice that extends seasonally out from the Antarctic coast, which they use as a platform for resting, mating, social aggregation and accessing their prey. They are by far the most abundant seal species in the world. Despite its name, crabeater seals do not eat crabs. As well as being an important krill predator, the crabeater seal is an important component of the diet of leopard seals, which consume about 80% of all crabeater pups.

Another closeup of the really poor idea of using sockets only where necessary. Hard to solder, and they don't break apart cleanly this way. Bad idea all around, but at least now I have photographic proof of that claim.
This exhibition features work by twelve CCA Architecture students in a fall 2017 advanced architecture studio led by Matt Hutchinson and Adam Marcus. The work explores the architectural detail as a locus for reconsidering contemporary domesticity in the context of new technologies of design, fabrication, and assembly.

This is an experiment into the theme of Connected images. I was testing the light and exposure so that I could do a continous shot and overlap the images. I included the image because of the way the skater is framed so strikingly.
