abirdabode is an art project and an environmental project under one roof.

Trinity Terrace has been made with members of Age UK's Trinity House Day Care Group.

Working with participants aged from seven to 97 we've being creating a plethora of Art Bird Boxes (an art bird box is both a practical nest box and a work of art) that will be installed around Oldham to become the Oldham Art Bird Box Trail. Prior to this all of the bird houses created will be exhibited at Gallery Oldham from 14th March until 7th May as the abirdabode exhibition.

It's definitely turning into a scarf. :-)

Somehow, I ended up with custody of this not-quite-complete box of crayons when my grandparents moved out of their home into a seniors' complex some 25 years ago. I remember using these crayons as a kid, when I'd go to visit them. Wonder what I did with the brown one?

Here is the completed bridge in all it's glory. We tested it out today... and it was good!

On the left there's an accelerometer, and on the right is a gyroscope. I picked both up from digikey.ca, protoboard from Radio Shack, black pins are expansion headers from RobotShop.ca. The Arduino also comes from RobotShop. The idea of this project is to build an input device for a first person shooter. This project is for my graduating honour thesis at the University of New Brunswick.
