I want to have another beautiful summer day
For see the green of nature
I want to live a hot summer night
For see the moon being born from a passion
I wish I could rule the time
Candy sky and summer
I wish I could rule the Earth
to make a big heart of her
Yes, it's love and compassion
Not war and loneliness
Yes, it's love and compassion
The world and all it's beauty
The wind blows, the storm comes
That will wash me from all evil
With the clouds you can not see
The blue sky that's above us
And the lights that will come to light us
I want to have another beautiful summer day
For see the green of nature
I want to live a hot summer night
For see the moon being born from a passion

Let’s keep working together to create a universe founded on kindness and compassion.
Let’s keep looking out for one another.
Sending light your way, my friends.
Petra is a most talented artist deep in her heart and soul . Her inner beauty comes out in all forms of visual art, from painting to photography. Her eternally searching eye captures beauty in all subjects , from landscapes to portraits, from archtecture to flowers. She has a special place in my heart as a friend, because she believed in my images even when I didn't and, encouraged me to go on and improve and, these words coming from a most gifted artist as her gave me a magical strenght. Thank you so much Petra for being who you are

Compassionate humans are everywhere if we are willing to open our eyes and see the kindness of those around us. Compassion is human nature.
So why dont we as humans show more compassion and kindness towards our planet, to Mother Nature, the environment and nature surrounding us. It makes me wonder. Why are we destroying the beauty of nature?
Why dont we acknowledging the need of animals, and nature in general, and the importance of their survival, as well as showing interest in their well-being, after all we need nature to be able to live here on earth.
I want to yet again praise and thank Una and Bo for putting the environment on the agenda, by making this sim.
I hope many will visit, but I also hope and wish people will take the time to sit down and reflect about what they see on the sim, this could very well be a real life scenario if we dont stop and think. By doing so hopefully we can make some changes in the way we treat our planet and the environment, we can all do something, even if little. It is a fact that global warming and climate change is effecting all of us. Some of the things we all can notice are: pollution, global warming, overpopulation, waste disposal, ocean acidification, loss of biodiversity, deforestation, ozone layer depletion, and the list goes on....

I am sorry my meager photoshop skills can't do this more justice. In the wake of evil, the symbol of the open hand is a powerful symbol. It conveys invitation, openness, compassion, and togetherness. In a time when rage begins it slow burn, an open hand can sometimes help love prevail over fury. Paris, the world offers you a hand of compassion. And, while war always seems inevitable in this broken world, may we all long for peace.

- the climbing rose bush in our garden is blooming in profusion this summer
- my haiku today has a total of 17 syllables, arranged in 3 lines with a pattern of 5-7-5
- I like experimenting
- I have a tendency to be verbose, was not good at précis at school and writing haiku forces me to be concise!

The vampire stood in the twilight’s shadow, holding a bouquet of roses in his hands. They were a tribute to her, the woman who had taught him to love and feel compassion. He longed to feel the warmth of the sun one last time, as an echo of the human warmth she had provided him. As tears of blood fell upon the petals, the sun touched his skin, and in that moment of pain and beauty, he remembered the light she had brought into his eternal life.
In the context of the story, the vampire’s compassion for the woman reflects an emotional connection that transcends his nature. Despite being a creature of darkness, his ability to feel compassion brings him closer to his humanity. As a way to honor the woman’s memory and feel a final connection with her, the vampire risks feeling the warmth of the sun, knowing it will cause him pain. It is a symbolic gesture of his love and compassion, choosing to share the human experience of loss and remembrance.

If we're destroying our trees and destroying our environment and hurting animals and hurting one another and all that stuff, there's got to be a very powerful energy to fight that. I think we need more love in the world. We need more kindness, more compassion, more joy, more laughter. I definitely want to contribute to that. - Ellen DeGeneres
The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others. - Albert Schweitzer
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
in our culture of busyness and distraction, important things get lost: compassion, creativity, and presence. when i'm in a rush or lost in thoughts, i more easily box people into "other." but when i pause, i see our interconnection. it's not my pain or your pain, it's just pain. i can breathe in the collective pain, and breathe out love, acceptance, and compassion—compassion for myself, for friends, for strangers; compassion for the world.
Last year this climbing rose had grown on the wall up as far as the house guttering so it was severely cut back. The reward this summer is like a small waterfall of beautiful pink with a typical fragrance reminiscent of peaches.

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
― Albert Einstein
courage means different things to different people. and its meaning can change with the situation. yet i think courage, too often, is associated with strength and armor. to me, courage means letting down my guard; being vulnerable and true; staying open to whatever arises. courage isn't about fighting; it’s about surrendering in a brave way—showing up with an open heart; cultivating compassion; sharing the raw places; letting love in.
tomorrow, mark and i leave for iowa. six days after my mom’s death, we celebrate her life within the framework of a funeral. part of my healing is to speak at her service—to speak from my unguarded heart.
thank you, flickr friends, for your love and support. next week, i’ll catch up with you all—with your beautiful, unique ways of seeing the world. until then, i rest in your good wishes. may we all find more moments of genuine courage.

I took this picture before Skoo went missing. But I just want you to know how much I appreciate your compassion, your tolerance of my distress, your calm words and your wisdom.
I have so many lovely friends and I know they are there for me too, but this time, you've been my lifeline.
Pets are family. And I don't know how to say goodbye to Skoodles, or what life is supposed to look like, without him. But thank you for holding my hand, while I try to figure it all out.
