Lai Chi Kok Road is a road in the western part of New Kowloon, Hong Kong. It links Lai Chi Kok to Mong Kok, via Tai Kok Tsui, Sham Shui Po and Cheung Sha Wan. It starts from the junction with Nathan Road near Pioneer Centre in the south and ends near Mei Foo Sun Chuen. The road is bidirection except the section Lai Chi Kok, between the junction with Butterfly Valley Road and Mei Foo Sun Chuen, where it serves New Territories-bound traffic.
荔枝角道（英文：Lai Chi Kok Road）是香港九龍的一條主要道路。其定線與長沙灣道平行，都是連接深水埗、長沙灣及荔枝角一帶。道路南端連接旺角彌敦道，北端連接葵涌道，全長約3.6公里，由西九龍走廊至荔枝角大橋的一小段屬於5號幹線的一部份。

Ce compact fut fabriqué en Allemagne (Kodak Ag) de 1972 à 1977, il utilise les cartouches 126 pour des vues de 28x28 mm. Objectif fixfocus, f:11, appareil équipé pour le Magicube, aucun réglage.
We have had several days of welcome rain and the level of water in Mare aux Vacoas reservoir has gone up a little.
Our Marine Park at Balaclava is in a sorry state and recently a report on the Marine Park at Blue Bay found that much of the coral in the reserve is damaged or dead and fish stocks are sadly depleted. Today's newspaper carries a report that the Marine Park at Blue Bay has been badly affected by mud running into the lagoon from the construction works to extend the runway at the airport. A part of the bay is now under a thick layer of mud.
A telephone line has been set up to take complaints about illegal fishing ( eg spearguns, fishing at night with torches, epervier nets). But there has been little publicity for this, so far no public service announcements to explain which fishing practices are illegal and why, therefore business carries on as usual ie people fishing illegally can be seen at most beaches.
Fishing for octopus .. which normally means trampling coral and breaking it to get hold of the octopus, if necessary with a metal bar, does not seem to count as illegal fishing and there is no closed season for octopus to take into account when the females are hatching their eggs.( I couldn't find any information on line as to when this happens in Mauritian seas either. Would seem to be a good topic for research).
Once again the seine fishing season is open. Using these weighted nets damages coral in the lagoon even when they are used in the permitted manner but I think they are often used in ways that contravene the regulations arnd are likely to be even more destructive.
The ban on fishing sea cucumbers has been extended until 2016.
And horses are no longer to be allowed on public beaches.

Comparing the Canon IXUS 275 HS (built in 4.5-54.0mm zoom lens) v Canon EOS 600D with a budget (sub £70) Yongnuo 35mm prime lens...
The subject is a backlit (using a MiniSun LightPad - daylight balanced), etched, clear glass paperweight. That the angle and aspect ratio is very similar, is pure fluke!!! Honest! Both cameras were hand held. No tripod was harmed during this shoot LOL.
More interestingly, the IXUS recorded (EXIF) a focal length of 10.31mm (58.14mm equivalent), at ISO 200, aperture f4.5, and shutter speed 1/500, in P mode (there is no M mode). Whilst the EOS, with the prime 35mm lens (56mm equivalent), was ISO 200, aperture f2, and shutter speed 1/250, in M mode.
Whilst the result from the IXUS is a little harsh, with evidence of vignetting, it's a valiant effort from such a small camera with a tiny lens. Then again, with the EOS, the glass in a Chinese budget prime lens is hardly going to be exceptional.

A Compact Disc (also known as a CD) is an optical disc used to store digital data, originally developed for storing digital audio. The CD, available on the market since late 1982, remains the standard playback medium for commercial audio recordings to the present day.
Standard CDs have a diameter of 120 mm and can hold up to 80 minutes of audio. There is also the Mini CD, with diameters ranging from 60 to 80 mm; they are sometimes used for CD singles, storing up to 24 minutes of audio.
