This shot has come about following a previous shot I uploaded that I had asked for help on. I would like to thank all those who took the time to make positive suggestions and hopefully I have made a better job of it this time.
A shot from the Carrington Bridge over the River Severn during the recent floods. For nineteen years this was part of my drive to work
Commuters trudge across the footbridge at Newcastle station on their way to work, disembarking from a class 158 that has just arrived from the west.

Strung out in the back of a black car
No keys, all I got is my credit cards
And I've been here a million times
Drive fast with The Beatles in the background
Till 'em take the 101 out of this town
I was never one to say goodbye

The evening rush hour crowd starts to gather at Preston station as a Class 158 DMU waits to leave for Blackpool.
Living in the suburbs requires a daily commute. For most this involves driving to work. In fact the modern suburb was made possible because of the automobile and freeway system. Patronage of the transport system is very strong in Melbourne (although pandemic restrictions have reduced the numbers of travelers on public transport).
