Oh the joy of transit on a wet and dreary January commute to work. The saving grace? At least today was Friday :-)

(Snapped on iPhone 6)

Last commute a few weeks ago and looks to be at least May and probably June before I make the trip again. Be well.

Despite lower temperatures I try to go to work by bike as often as possible... I meet geese, storks and hares instead of crazy car drivers. These graylag geese are part of a bigger flock that I see almost every day.

There is something magical in witnessing the rising of the sun announcing a new day, full of promise and potential. It's like being given a blank canvas for the day. The Bay Bridge in the Tampa Bay.

I ran into the city this morning and grabbed a few aerial shots. Here is a panorama of the bay bridge.

On the left, you'll find the steeple of one of the many beautiful churches in Manayunk, a neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, USA. On the right, you'll find I76, a major highway that is packed with morning commuters. In between is the Schuylkill River. I took this the other week while I was on a morning walk. I used my D750 and 28mm AIS for capture and Lightroom for processing.

A quiet moment of contemplation on the way to Toronto.

Photographed at Union Station, Toronto.

I've been pretty busy lately at work and with home renovations. Not much time for photography or for you guys unfortunately. I'm all done with renos now, and since it's so mild here lately, I was able to commute to work by bike for the first time in February in the last 15 years. We're usually buried deep in snow but this year it's not the case. Global warming?

Alternate for the night photography challenge. Taken early this morning just as the sun was rising.

Not my usual route to work but sometimes it's nice to take in a different view.
