One of the dwindling rural services left in the area is the Wednesday only 888 service, operating from the centre of Newton Abbot to Kingskerswell & Daccombe. The service had for the past few years been operated by Country Bus, however from 2017 it was taken on by Newton Abbot Community Transport. On this occasion it was in the hands of their GM bodied Iveco Daily 50C, WA64AKG, pictured at Daccombe Coss.

“COMMUNITY” - A site specific permanent sculpture referencing the concept of “community”, an ethos pillar of Palm Springs. Installed April 15, 2024.
Porcelain enamel roadsigns point in every direction, leading the viewer to the same “place”, and thus the same conclusion; community is everywhere.
52 signs represent the fifty two neighborhood groups that make up the City of Palm Springs.
The visual mass of text signage reimagines a very literal and common object, turning it into abstract art.
Placed permanently in a median on a main roadway between the airport and the center of downtown.

This week we helped Lavish Living SL bring their vision of a bright, minimalist community park to life. With clean lines, and an uncluttered space, they now have a stunning functional park with a coffee shop, community pool space and outdoor cinema which compliments the rest of their sim perfectly. Fantastic clients to work with, thank you for trusting us with your project.
The light breeze, birds singing their beautiful songs while wind-chimes gently play background musick. The scent of fresh cut grass with a hint of Ocean floating by. I Luv Summer.

Porthmadog, known locally as "Port", is a small coastal town and community in the Eifionydd area of Gwynedd, in Wales. It has been so spelt officially since 1974. Before 1972 in the administrative county of Caernarfonshire, it lies 5 miles (8 km) east of Criccieth, 11 miles (18 km) south-west of Blaenau Ffestiniog, 25 miles (40 km) north of Dolgellau and 20 miles (32 km) south of Caernarfon. It developed in the 19th century as a port exporting slate to England and elsewhere, but since the decline of the industry it has become a shopping centre and tourist destination. It has easy access to Snowdonia National Park and is the terminus of the Ffestiniog Railway. The 1987 National Eisteddfod was held in Porthmadog. The community includes the nearby villages of Borth-y-Gest, Morfa Bychan and Tremadog.
Dominated by sand, sea, surf and wind communities built on the sand are often subjected to Mother Nature's extremes. With the wind blowing and the sand flying they always have a special appeal to me.
when the new president of the philippines was sworn in he declared an all out war against drugs. during his state of the nation address he mentioned that drug offenders should submit themselves to rehabilitation or die. since his declaration there had been a massive voluntary surrender of drug offenders. this morning i chanced upon this group of men who are doing voluntary community work. i was told that they are taking up the president's drug rehabilitation program

Christmas Parade entry. The ute is a 1964 Lightburn Zeta, made in South Australia, one of about 13 utes and the only tray top version made by the factory. The trailer was made by local shearer Max Peppall to cart his shearing plant around. The tree has bird boxes and bat boxes that have been made by the shed for distribution around the area affected by the Pinery Fire, around 100 have been made.

Brighouse bus station has always been a bit of a hammer and nut solution. Far too big for purpose or need really. The busiest service from Bradford and Huddersfield traditionally doesn't even call at the bus station due to the road layout. There is another option if travelling to Huddersfield though using newer buses than firstgroup and much quicker. Only problem is it only runs twice a day ! Here South Pennine Community Transport HV69EPX waits to work the express X49 to Huddersfield !
