I trust all my flickr friends are travelling ok.
Our local government has announced our coast will become a part of a dinosaur trail. Our community has over the last month started to progressively add to a driftwood sculpture during it's covid lockdown. I think the dinosaur theme is looking pretty solid. Stay safe everyone
Love em or hate em, turbines are here to stay...most would say great, as long as they are NIMBY (not in my back yard)! You can see my back yard way out in the distance, the furtherest peak.
“But many of us seek community
solely to escape the fear of being alone.
Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving.
When we can be alone, we can be with others
without using them as a means of escape.”

This image was created from multiple exposures blended together in Photoshop CS6 layers using the "Lighten" blend mode. All exposures were taken with a single Paul C. Buff Einstein strobe with a 22" beauty dish attached to a Elinchrom boom arm and a 3-stop B&W ND filter attached to my lens. If you send me a FlickrMail message, I'll be more than happy to send you some information on mostly how I photograph this style and what equipment I use, along with some YouTube video links that help explain this process.

Although I did a tiny bit of "tweaking" in PS, I was really quite surprised to see all the different coloured bokeh I was able to get with this series of spring blossoms.

Un grand merci à Shenn Tao (www.flickr.com/photos/169280213@N02) qui m'a renseigné ce splendide petit coin de paradis perché au milieu des nuages.

i love the community feeling of these chives. it's a beautiful gathering in the garden. a reminder that we're stronger together.
I spent this past week riding my bike on the "Tour de Nebraska," a 216 mile route through the beautiful sandhill region of north central Nebraska. Minimizing weight meant taking the lightest camera I had, my iphone. We enjoyed the wonderful prairie, oak savannas, and ponderosa pine forests of the region, as well as the Niobrara River valley.
The ride was given the impromptu title "Headwind Tour" as we battled the wind most of the way, despite doing a loop. We also coped with a couple of rainy mornings, but the temperatures were mild compared to the expected norms.
This scene was around 20 miles into the final day's ride, with a rest stop at the Sparks General Store. The morning rain and clouds are clearing out, though the wind was picking up out of the southeast, the direction we were headed.

12. Erindale Community Hall
(c. 1928) 1620 Dundas Street W.
In the last quarter of the 19th Century, the Parish Hall, General Store and Post Office, and the Royal Exchange Hotel formed the commercial core of Erindale. In 1919, fire swept Erindale, destroying much of its old core, including the original hall on this site. A community-based committee was formed to oversee the building of a new hall. The new hall was officially opened in 1928 by Lieutenant Governor W.D. Ross. Still owned and operated by a Board of Directors and separate from municipal support, the Erindale Community Hall hosts many community events and is available for public rental.
