A Restoration, cleaning and maintenance on a Commodore 64 c. I have used the keys from a broken Commodore Vic=20, to replace some of the original keys of the Commodore 64 c. I used bleach to clean the keys, and an air compressor to blow the keys dry, and remove the dust from the parts. This Commodore 64 c is fully working at this moment. The most photo's of this restoration, are taken with my smartphone in stead of the Nikon D5200. The Commodore 64, the Commodore Vic=20, and the Commodore 64c, have the same keyboard mechanism. Only the color of the keys are different.
Port Elliot is a town in South Australia toward the eastern end of the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is situated on the sheltered Horseshoe Bay. Horseshoe Bay was proclaimed a port in 1851, and the settlement above the bay was named Port Elliot in 1852. The location had been previously known as Freeman's Knob; the aboriginal name for the area may have been "Witengangool".
Commodore Point is located on the eastern side of Horseshoe Bay. In February 1856 the schooner Commodore dragged its anchor in gusty conditions and struck the rocky promontory at the NE end of Horseshoe Bay. Wreckage was strewn along the beach, most of the cargo was lost and only a few spars and sails could be saved. The promontory became known as Commodore Point.
