Note: Some of you may know my misery regarding when Justice first came to Vancouver. I brought my wide angle lens and was denied by security because I had a "professional camera" (oh please). So tonight I brought my stalker lens and had a rematch with Justice hitting up the Commodore Ballroom. Sweet.

The Selina Commodore Hotel in Astoria, Oregon is a boutique hotel located at 14th and Commercial in downtown Astoria. The three story building dates to 1925.
Hudson was an American car manufacturer from 1909 until 1957. By that tine company had merged with Nash to form American Motors. This is a model from the third generation of the Hudson Commodore, built from 1947 until 1952. The low "step-down" design was quite advanced for its time.

Dinky Toys Opel Commodores. On the left is an Atlas re-issue of the French original, on the right is the UK release with Speedwheels. The original was just the Opel Rekord coupé and they did not remove the 'Rekord' badges – on the UK version this was corrected.
So ... the French version has number plates from Köln (Germany) and the English model form Milan (Italy). German Fords were made in Köln, not Opels, but why an Italian Opel for the UK?

Could this be a Holden Commodore SS spotted in the states? It had the Holden emblems on the front grill and on the rims. I didn't see any Chevy emblems which would make this a Chevy SS.

Built in Germany as the Opel Commodore C as a large luxurious version of the Rekord/Carlton. With a similar front end to the Senator. Sold in the UK as the Vauxhall Viceroy, sold in Australia as the Holden Commodore and in South Africa as the Chevrolet Commodore until 1982 when it was rebadged Opel.
There was an Estate version which never sold in the UK, although a one off Estate version was built in 1981 for HRH Queen Elizabeth II to carry her corgi dogs.
This one off car still survives, but the Viceroy has become a rare sight, in 2006 there was reportedly only 15 remaining registered in the UK.
