Kleine Runde mit meinem Oldie durchs Sauerland...

Opel Commodore A, Bj.71

The Dasaka, for all the cultural differences and living far far away, are basically a tribe of Ce-Matoran and Toa - wielders of Psionics. This power can manifest in different forms, depending on clan and chosen specialty.

Ayiwah's primary discipline is the soulsword: Willpower focused into physical form - in her case, that of a rapier. Fast as thought and never with a dull edge, she has used it to defeat many foes - oftentimes with one or both hands held behind her back!

The Opel version of the Vauxhall Viceroy, and maybe even rarer/less popular?

This one looks rather sad, so it's little surprise to find that DVLA says it came off the road in March 1991. Appears to have gained a BMW 7-series wheel on the front.

See it again on the back of a trailer in the next photo along.

Photo taken on 20/8/92 at Underhill Farm, Newnham, Glos. Looks like an interesting place next to several boatyards on the bank of the River Severn.

A detail of the previous piece.

Anyone who had a Commodore 64 with a shoebox full of floppy discs with 1000 illegitimate games knows what this one is about.

I've been sizing up old Commodore ads for a while now and really wanted to do a piece showcasing the system and it's many rainy Sunday afternoons spent playing Impossible Mission, Jumpman and Rambo.

This is 18" x 24".

The Selina Commodore Hotel in Astoria, Oregon is a boutique hotel located at 14th and Commercial in downtown Astoria. The three story building dates to 1925.

An RJ Corman empty coal train creeps (almost as if carefully) around the tight curve of the Flemming Loop just outside the small town of Commodore, PA. The train had just Flemming Summit, now gliding downgrade into Clymer, PA where it would be loaded for its return trip. Snow had fallen the night before, as is often the case in these Pennsylvania mountains, and a few flurries continued to fall as the train finished its journey.

Hudson was an American car manufacturer from 1909 until 1957. By that tine company had merged with Nash to form American Motors. This is a model from the third generation of the Hudson Commodore, built from 1947 until 1952. The low "step-down" design was quite advanced for its time.

Dinky Toys Opel Commodores. On the left is an Atlas re-issue of the French original, on the right is the UK release with Speedwheels. The original was just the Opel Rekord coupé and they did not remove the 'Rekord' badges – on the UK version this was corrected.

So ... the French version has number plates from Köln (Germany) and the English model form Milan (Italy). German Fords were made in Köln, not Opels, but why an Italian Opel for the UK?

There is some incredibly and fascinating beauty in the old machines design. Exposing the beauty and recreating mood of their time is the aim of the project.

Could this be a Holden Commodore SS spotted in the states? It had the Holden emblems on the front grill and on the rims. I didn't see any Chevy emblems which would make this a Chevy SS.
