Indian Commodity Market Tips Commodity trading is one avenue which traders can use to diversify their investments. Commodity trading has become the next big thing for investors after equity trading. Indian commodity market is slowly picking up. Worldwide, the commodities market is three times the equity trading market and with India being an agrarian economy, commodity trading will become a huge investment avenue once people develop enough insights into the market.

Lutetium is used in PET, petroleum refining, computers, and organic light emitting diodes.

Thulium does not have many practical uses. Though it has been used to create laser lights but production costs were too high for commercial use. Thulium is used in ferrites, microwave equipment and portable x-ray machines.

The famed Santorini sunset. We caught it on the lovely village of Fira, where just about everyone else had basically the same idea.

#Shortpeopleprobs made it extremely difficult for us to catch a view uninterrupted. This guy here ironically was just content viewing it from his mobile phone--which was odd, to put it nicely, considering the fact that, you know, the sun is RIGHT THERE. But yeah, whatever floats their boat, right?

It was beautiful although hazy. We left the caldera view shortly thereafter because it was a pretty hopeless case for us. The place was just literally packed.

We found our way to the tour office to wait for the shuttle taking us back to our hostel. While waiting, we grabbed ourselves some wine and from the second floor of the bar, what do you know, we caught the sunset in all its unobstructed glory.

PRO TIP: Catch it from the parking lot next time and avoid the crowd at the village. ;)

We Monks do have a taste for kitsch and for "found objects" and ephemera. We even have a set of pictures on Flickr with that name, and when we stumbled upon the current Pascale Marthine Tayou show at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, in Hyde Park London, we both responded positively.

Confirming Monk philosophy, we dare speculate that Pascale has found and offered beauty and joy and relevance in everyday colourful bulk issue fast food plastic straws, pipes and bags and bottles.

The theme of the show is artfully “suggested” and not hammered home; allowing the meaning and the connections between each motif to sink-in without fuss or pretension.

Those art lovers who lined up to see and pay to see Damien Hirst’s diamond skull in order to find the meaning of life, should consider staying away.

Pascale’s Visitors will not be required to pay for that privilege and will not fail to register his polemic before they find the exit.

Joy indulged, message delivered.

Pascale describes his installation as "deceitful";

I would add, knowingly so.

Vancouver Commodity Forum (June 14, 2016)

Around here early in the afternoon I overheard a middle aged, middle class looking couple pushing a pram discuss how "it looks like we're walking into a trap"; then saw lines of police preparing to close the route they had shepherded protesters down. Along with a friend I stayed behind the lines as they formed the kettle - reluctant to have our freedom of movement taken away. Later on a policeman came and stood directly in front of me and I noticed others moving across to form a line. I attempted to step past him, toward the toilets, and he refused saying "you've chosen to be on this side". I pointed out that there wasn't a side, explaining it was open public space a second ago when I chose to wait there whilst my friend used the public toilet a few meters away... not interested. About a minute passed as I stood there with my mind covering what was happening and felt anger welling up inside me that hadn't been present earlier on. A suited man then walked past me, and through the now formed line a few men along and I slipped through after him. The policeman who originally decided to trap me looked like he might run after so I moved away quickly and he got back to standing in a line. Lucky for me, though it shouldn't happen in the first place. This kettling is such a bad idea - it is hard not to believe the technique is about bringing peaceful protesters to boiling point for political/media based agendas.

Why should wanting to peacefully attend a protest, mean focusing on not getting penned by police? To avoid being held in decreasing space with increasing threats deep into the night? I believe that there were people behaving like idiots in the protest but I didn't witness that. I did witness a wide range of people being captured, lied to and lied about. The groups of students and co. and the police contain mixed personalities of course - but this strategy that the individual officers were ordered to carry out doesn't work for the great majority on ground level.
