Agricultural commodity prices are reaching levels close to those witnessed in 2007/08 and 2010/11, and fertilizer prices have also increased significantly. Repercussions from the invasion of Ukraine are creating significant additional pressures on prices.
This policy seminar will present global data on key agricultural commodity, energy, transportation, and fertilizer markets to paint a comprehensive picture of price trends and their underlying causes and will include a comparison to the earlier price spikes of 2007/08 and 2010/11.

Thulium does not have many practical uses. Though it has been used to create laser lights but production costs were too high for commercial use. Thulium is used in ferrites, microwave equipment and portable x-ray machines.

#Shortpeopleprobs made it extremely difficult for us to catch a view uninterrupted. This guy here ironically was just content viewing it from his mobile phone--which was odd, to put it nicely, considering the fact that, you know, the sun is RIGHT THERE. But yeah, whatever floats their boat, right?
It was beautiful although hazy. We left the caldera view shortly thereafter because it was a pretty hopeless case for us. The place was just literally packed.
We found our way to the tour office to wait for the shuttle taking us back to our hostel. While waiting, we grabbed ourselves some wine and from the second floor of the bar, what do you know, we caught the sunset in all its unobstructed glory.
PRO TIP: Catch it from the parking lot next time and avoid the crowd at the village. ;)

These two statues, one symbolizing agriculture and the other industry, once stood over the main entrance of the Board of Trade Building built in 1885. The statues greeted commodity traders and the public for 45 years. Thought lost forever when the bulding was demolished in 1929 to make way for the exchange’s current Art Deco structure, in 2005 the statues were graciously returned to their origins through the generocity and goodwill of the DuPage County Forest Preserve District.

Part of 2nd year photography degree project - playing on the idea of commodity culture and how the consumer will buy anything advertised with sex (nudity, sexuality, femininity). The final project is advertising the excesses of the body.

Confirming Monk philosophy, we dare speculate that Pascale has found and offered beauty and joy and relevance in everyday colourful bulk issue fast food plastic straws, pipes and bags and bottles.
The theme of the show is artfully “suggested” and not hammered home; allowing the meaning and the connections between each motif to sink-in without fuss or pretension.
Those art lovers who lined up to see and pay to see Damien Hirst’s diamond skull in order to find the meaning of life, should consider staying away.
Pascale’s Visitors will not be required to pay for that privilege and will not fail to register his polemic before they find the exit.
