Gordaon Hayward, along with teammates Trey Burke, Derrick Favors, Jeremy Evans, Rodney Hood, Steve Novak,and Trevor Booker, was assisting other members of the Jazz organization with refurbishment projects at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City. The service project was part of the NBA’s “Commitment to Service” initiative to serve military-related causes.

🚛 Delaware National Guard Mobilized for Hurricane Milton Relief ️
On October 10, 2024, around 100 Delaware National Guard Soldiers are loading up equipment, supplies, and vehicles at Field Maintenance Shop 4 in Seaford as they prepare to roll out in a 40+ vehicle convoy to Northern Florida. These dedicated Guardsmen were activated, tasked, and deployed within just 48 hours to assist with Hurricane Milton relief efforts.
We're proud of their quick response and commitment to helping those in need. Safe travels, and thank you for your service! 💙
